Green Power is the beer we've been waiting for. It's got that big melon note in treehouse beers along with the smooth creaminess.

Congrats Other Half and everybody who works there! Cheers to all the people who have supported them also! For me it is awesome to have been there 3+ years ago the day they opened and be fortunate enough to be there today when the new tap room opened. It seems like yesterday standing in that tap room on a Saturday afternoon with Anthony serving up awesome 4 beer flights for $5 and awesome music. Green Diamonds, AGE, Galaxy and everything that followed has been great.

They continue to run an amazing business with world class beer. Incredible how far they have progressed in 3 years.

Green Power is great. Love the new tap room. So many DDH beers on tap. Plus a variety of other styles. Only thing I didn't get was the weird growler pricing. I only had a 32oz growler with me and it was $16 (Enigma/galaxy-which is freakin awesome) but if u got 64oz it was only $2 more.... and they were all 16/18 or 14/18.

Plus they had the damn broccoli tekus which I had to get. I don't know why. But there was a super fan there or maybe he worked there?

I was just over on OH's site and noticed it shows them opened on Mondays now. I doubt their own website is incorrect but can anyone on here confirm that?

Looks like they are opening at 3PM on Fridays now as well. From what I remember from what @Kanger said a month or two ago, the goal is to eventually be open 12PM-10PM all days.

Neat to see they have a big taproom now that original one was brutal if it was crowded. Guess I'm gonna try and make a trip before summer ends if it's big enough to enjoy a few and relax peacefully. Congrats you OH and all you Brooklynites that have been there since the beginning.

The best part about the taproom was a minor detail. When I stopped by last night it was pretty crowded: the entire bar was seated, and most of the tables (tall and regular) were occupied. However, as I waited for my growler, I quickly realized every single inch of wall, including behind the growler fill station, had a nice little ledge for you to set a drink on.

    Thats great.

Roughly how many total seats would you say there are? I have been in there for a can release but couldn't get a good feel for the size once open.

That tap list is a thing of beauty. 20 taps, my god. Congrats Other Half, can't wait to get down there to check out the new room.

Seats at the bar? Maybe 18? I honestly don't recall how many tables there were but it was a good amount of space. That is, even with most of the seats taken, it didn't feel uncomfortable at any point (and, as before, it was great to sidle up to the wall and rest my tasters on the ledge).

Curious about the new growler pricing...can't see it listed anywhere. Are 32oz growlers really priced only 2 dollars cheaper than 64oz fills now? If that's the case I'll probably just be grabbing 64oz growlers there in the future, might as well.

I agree. I think there were 3 long picnic tables thst probably held 10-12 people each and about 15 bar stools but i was over by the back brewing area using one of those ledges and at no point did i feel cramped. They even had hooks for my wife's bag so she was thrilled hahah.

Cool to see matt and sam were there too. Wanted to say something but didnt want to be a creeper lol.

Overall one of the best times ive had at other half.
