My crowler had a date on it, yours should too. And yeah, that beer tastes soot on a week out from being... er... crowled. After three weeks it falls ogf pretty bad.

To get this back on track... Cerebral has been blowing me away lately; I have driven up for Crowlers (Cheat Code and DDH Rare Trait) the last two weeks in a row and plan to be there this Friday as well. I live in Colorado Springs, so I think that says something! Cheat Code may be one of my favorite IPAs in the state and edged out the DDH Rare Trait for me.

Rustic Ways cans are fire, I am really excited for these monthly can releases to continue, though I am not excited for fighting ski traffic to get them.

I still think S26's new Hop Sequence (#7) is my favorite new IPA in the state. Hopefully it gets some traction and they keep that one around.

That's the NE IPA from them right? If so, agreed it's really good. Think I still slightly prefer the Juicy Banger FWIW though.

Yup, that's the one. They had another hazy one earlier, but I think this one is more in-line with the citric/tropical notes I personally want. Very citric. I dig Juicy Banger, too. I don't think a bad beer comes out of that place. Even when some don't agree with my personal palate, they're still well made.

Had a Outer Range In the steep Sunday. It was damn good. I've had that and Rustic Ways from Outer Range and like both a lot.

Not positive of this, but the next canning release at Outer Range should include two batches. One of which is Two Pound Tent. Hoping they can just buy a canning line soon...

Two Pound Tent and Blocks of Light will be the next cans. Two Pound Tent may be tweaked a little with less topaz hops and more citra. Unfortunately I don't think they have the room to add a canning line unless they can find some way to expand that building. They are getting a couple new 7 barrel fermenters and Lee plans on cranking out a bunch of new brews.

Say what you will about Trinity, but Hype Forager is very good.

I liked it, too. Haven't had the canned one, but it was on tap in a few places last fall. I had it side by side with a couple other high profile IPA's and felt it was on par. Plus, I do kinda like that Yester went all-in with the shit talking and use of flour and such.

I had Two Pound Tent on Saturday at Backcountry in Boulder. I found it to be very good and probably the second best beer I've had from Outer Range (behind Forestry) although I haven't had In the Steep yet. They're definitely doing some great things out in Frisco.

Yeah, dude. Agree with you big time. Everything is well-made there... no doubt. I even enjoyed the orange cream ale I had with breakfast near there one time... Easily my favorite place to go when I'm down in the big city.

I'm hoping they drop their prices. $18 for a four pack is pretty rich, but I guess it isn't all the ridiculous considering we live in the land of $16 crowlers.

    Odd 13, 10 to 13 bucks for a howler.

They really are the best. 6 packs 11 bucks. Srs.

32 oz. Same as a crowler.

Not sure if trolling me cause of long time jokes around the beer web....

And then you go and get a $5 crowler of slow pour and rethink that

Also, Rustic Ways is fantastic. I still prefer In The Steep though.

WW just announced they are releasing Alpha Bits in 4-pack tall boys for $14 in the taproom starting tomorrow, with distro beginning Monday.... I'll certainly be getting some of this- really have Doug the alpha much more than the juicy!
