I got to Specs right at 10, got my bottles, and payed. Not that hard, don't know why everyone always complains about the line at Specs? Even had a minute to chat with Justin. A hell of a lot easier than trying to guess when and how much any particular HEB or Kroger will happen to have it.

My Whole Foods said Thursday

 

I called two Krogers (Bissonnet and Weslayan) and both said they had it. I get there and find out they were talking about Oktoberfest. Clueless. I got one bottle at Whole Foods on Bellaire.

 

Austinites - specs Brodie has it 2 bottle limit and whip in just got it in while I was standing there, not sure on limit. Whole foods didn't get it yet, central market west gate says tomorrow, south Lamar wine said weds or thurs, and Heb at William cannon and Brodie said not yet.

Wow I'm shocked! Can't believe they were gone so fast! The line was incredibly long though when I got there around 9:50 ish. I was all the way back in the parking lot.

Any San Antonio sightings yet? Tried both Specs, Central Market and HEB Alon and they all said tomorrow or Thursday.

 

CLEAR LAKE UPDATE:
Spec's Bay Area, one bottle limit was going fast at 11:00am
HEB Bay Area/El Camino no limit - sold out
Spec's Seabrook - said they would get it Thursday

Specs at Rayford has it. 2 bottle limit. At the check-out (which works out well.) $7.99.

HEB 1488 has a bunch. 2 bottle limit. $8.49

HEB at Market Street should get theirs tomorrow morning.

Specs at 336 N (as of 10 am) said theirs will be in today, but they don't know where the truck is.

As with a lot of the StA special releases, in Houston, after "release day" when the rush is over, it is sometimes easier to find at the smaller stores that get it on Wednesday or Thursday.
So if you strike out today, there is still hope!

Randalls does indeed get this, you need to ask. Also, make sure to ask them to check the back. Found some last year when I asked the guy to check. They had around 10 cases of the stuff back there that they had no idea they had.
