At $14 a sixer(applejacks) it isn't that good. It's $10 a sixer good with CS IPA being the better choice in that style and price point. I'd like to include Hubert in the $10 sixer discussion but haven't seen it that low in a long time.

Nope and Hubert just saw an increase it's either $11.48 or $11.98 now.

But I came here to say I just saw a Comrade post saying they will be getting in some Frash hops over the next few weeks for Some Superdamp which is outstanding imo

Are these new canned CS beers being brewed at Sleeping Giant?

That's where Alpha Bits is being brewed and canned according to Weldwerks. I have no doubt they can do a good job with it.

While not a brewery in the traditional sense, there's an argument that Sleeping Giant is the best brewery in CO.

Is the green can the DIPA trellus or is there a regular IPA in the green can?

I was talking about the regular IPA, which is lighter green

Thanks I couldn't find the IPA online and Staves website is down. All I saw is the dipa. I'll definitely look for the IPA today. Hopefully Hazels will have it. I need a new go to IPA around the $10 mark. Does CS can date?

Top tier NEIPAs (I'd definitely put In the Steep and Rustic Ways in that category) are dry hopped super aggressively (not to mention higher in alcohol so more grain is needed too) so the ingredients cost is higher on that style of beer. $18+ is a pretty standard price for a 4 pack of double dry hopped NEIPA across the country.

Can someone drop some knowledge bout these guys?
I'm assuming its a brewery that subcontracts, but what do they brew? Location? Background? Who they brew for?

Other pertinent questions dot dot dot

Had a couple new Colorado hoppy beers last night.

Citra Verde is a hoppy American Pale Ale from Eddyline. It has citra hops and lime peel. Taste didn't quite match the aroma, but a nice light hoppy pale ale.

Rupture is a new "Fresh Grind Ale" from Odell. It's classified as an IPA on untapped but again I would say this is more like an American Pale Ale. Pretty good, again, it's a light beer. Also saw a bunch of Hype Forager around Colorado Springs...

Having the CS IPA now. Got to agree it's pretty damn tasty and for $10 a 6 pack I'm sold

Cerebral's Orange Kushcicle (released today) is fantastic, very glad I made the drive up for Crowlers. Oh and Cheat Code and DDH Rare Trait are both still on draft and drinking great. I kinda feel like a broken record... but the CO IPA scene is incredible right now, as good as any other state out there IMO.

Weldwerks similarly deployed the flamethrowers yesterday. They had draft and crowlers of Extra EXTRA Juicy Bits, Galaxy DDH Juicy Bits, Alpha Bots, and PiƱa Colada fruity bits. And if that wasn't enough, they also have the new batch of Alpha Bits 4-packs. :scream::heart_eyes:

Administrative note: I was told that batch 2 of PC fruity bits skipped the lactose addition. It is a bit drier as a result and gives a different aspect of the fruit flavors that makes the hops come through more.
