Surprised by this as all three beers are absolutely delicious. Maybe the rain kept people away or the allocation limits helped.

 

I'm surprised too. Maybe the Gose hype is dying down for the singles?

The Idont series, when done well, is my favorite. They haven't done IdonteverEVER since February (released with Dirt Nap) and then, even post Oreo Horns hype, I rolled by at 4:15PM to no line. I guess it just doesn't get the love for some reason.

I'd guess there may be some post Forever Summer festival burnout. That and the quad can release at Triple Crossing last Friday may have people's wallets strained at the moment.

 

I was looking up how many styles Veil has brewed and saw this description for one of if not the only pale ale they've brewed.

"Dusty Roadz is a special beer made for a special dude. One of our Co-founders Dustin Durrance kept telling our head brewer Matt that he wanted to see us brew a pale ale. Matt kept telling Dustin "nah". Then one day, Matt gave in to Dustin and said "yah"! This is our first ever "pale ale" and might be one of the only we brew. Dusty Roadz is a 5.2% heavily hopped/dry-hopped pale ale with a ton of Citra Lupulin Powder and the freshest Nelson we could find."

Anyone know why they choose not to brew pale ales?

 

Not enough ABV for the HazeBroz

 

Funny, I had my first and only can of this last night. I really enjoyed it. It reminded me of a lot of Trillium, but actually better than some.

As to why? On one hand I'd say that if this was their one and only "flaghsip" Pale Ale it's good enough to stand alone. I also think it could be argued that when they brew something like Broz Day Off, Lady Broz or Little Kitty Boi they're brewing Pale Ales under the name "session IPA". I don't know about the ABV line ^^ if serious considering they do a handful of "session" IPAs at 4.8%, lower than Dusty's 5.2%.

Plus, there's always the hype aspect of "we won't do this again, limited time offer, while supplies last"-type speak. They have brewed before, but haven't brewed since, things like a black DIPA and a Red IPA so at least they've brewed Dusty more than once this year.

 

Cans and Crowler still available for today (Friday). I wold think it being Friday and the amount left showing in their pic the limits would be higher. They are risking cans carrying over into next week.

With ~200 cases, it depends on what they announce for the 4th can but if it's nothing that will cause mass hysteria on Tuesday I'd imagine you'll be fine.

WAKEUP (DEBUT) is a new 8% DIPA hopped generously and exclusively with Nelson. Notes of fresh grapefruit flesh, tangerine peel, maybe some faint passionfruit, WAKEUP almost resembles some sort of tropical punch. Due to the limited availability of Nelson hops, we most likely will not be able to make this one on a frequent basis. Don't miss out on this one!

Yella Lambz (DEBUT) is str8 lemonade. For realz. The idea was to make a straight forward kettle sour, 4% crusher that resembles Nana's country tyme lemonade. We started with a soft malt base, kettle soured dat, then we added a ton of Lactose(*CONTAINS LACTOSE*), gallons of organic lemon juice, and lemon peel. It seriously tastes like lemonade your neighbor made in some Rubbermaid pitcher. When you drink it, you'll be lookin' like a LEMON! BURRRR!

Eternal Eternal Shredder Shredder is the double dry-hopped version of the 8.5% imperial version of our house IPA Master Shredder we call Eternal Shredder. This is the first time we've released EESS in almost a year, and it's the second time ever made. Deep, resinous, in your face hop character.
Shooting for approx 180-200x cases. $18+tax/4-pack. 3x 4-packs per person.

Weekend at Broznies is our 9% all Citra DIPA Broz Night Out with a bunch pineapple purée added to it. We actually upped the pineapple addition from previous batches a touch. ✌ If you love Broz Night Out, Citra hops, or previous batches of Weekend at Broznies, you will this one.

You really should be good on Wednesday. If IdonteverEVER lasted into 3rd Thursday last week there is no reason EESS should disappear on release day. People can snag over 2 cases so I wouldn't be surprised if folks travel for the release but I'd be surprised if most people will be there to get the limit. Never say never, but it helps there nothing "hyped" here.

 

Final details going into today's release. Does not seen to be much of a line so feel confident all cans (non-Crowlers) except maybe Yella Lambz will likely roll into tomorrow. Dusty Roadz Crowlers I would except to roll over as well.
