I didn't know that "California Brewed" cap was shared among different breweries. I see them on Moylan's in my area.

Also, does BCBS have its own cap? I had no idea. Granted, I've never seen a bottle in the wild since we do not get GI (until later this year)

I know for sure that Marin uses them too.

All black with the Bourbon County "logo" typeface in white, just like the BCBS label

I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned Southern Tier yet.

I know this is a little off topic, but how are you guys prying your tops off without bending and creasing them? I want to save my caps for an inlay in a coffee table but they're all bent so far. Any ideas?

just pop a quarter on top before you use any opener & it should keep it intact, cheers!

Old fashioned wire church key. Works like a charm.

I use the quarter trick... if found that wine corkscrews with a bottle open on the end (bigger the better) work best

They have easy openers for bottles, just slide over the cap and push down. I have one, but it makes 2 tiny dents on some caps. I have since lined the inside with tape and it works better. http://www.amazon.com/Brookstone-Easy-Open-Bottle-Opener-70020/dp/B003GEUW5K

Usually I use a quarter over the cap. I have a querter wrapped in painters tape that I keep in the drawer, keeps it from scratching the top.

I've had two of those types over the years. Both suck. They work for about 6 beers, then they start mangling it, or stop even prying it off. The free paint can opener church key type are the best. Pull it off without any dis-figuration.

I was going to start a new thread when I saw this one, hopefully it will garner some attention.

I want to create a table top with beer caps and i have a bunch, but the more the merrier. Anyone have any they are willing to send me that aren't bent or disfigured, Im sure we could work out a payment or something cheaply!

I just pop it with a Bic lighter - I will try to the quarter trick though.

There a lot of cool caps but I like Lagunitas. They come in different colors too just like Anchor and Sierra Nevada.

I go around the entire bottle cap with an opener just slightly popping up each part of the cap until I can pull it off. It leaves the cap in perfect condition.

A couple of cool NC caps.

Natty Greene (the only pic I could find without taking my own is earrings made from the caps.)

Lonerider. One of my personal favorites.

If you do that with a quarter or nickel on top of the cap, it comes off good as new.
