Looking for best brewery, beerbar, and food suggestions for the Portland and Camden/Rockport areas, and points in between.

    Thanks!

After Novare Res and Little Tap House, I'd throw out the Great Lost Bear. Massive selection of local beers.

If the trip falls within this week, then the opportunity to capitalize on the 6th could/should be penciled in

Allagash is releasing coolship red next Saturday. Anyone know how these releases go? They said no limits, so I assume it will last a few days. I was thinking of driving up Saturday morning.

This is a re-release of the same batch that dropped back in April to pair with a new Tiarna release. I imagine they have a considerable amount available if they're offering it at no-limit. No need to arrive before open.

Slab had barrel aged deep space on tap, which i highly suggest, and Nosh had KBS on tap.

Battery Steele, Austin St., Foundation, and Allegash are all right next to each other. Allegash has free flights!

In Portland proper, check out Eventide and Honey Paw for great food and drink.

Slightly more casual, and perhaps more beer-minded, there's Mash Tun, and the Thirsty Pig.

Miyake has what some consider to be some of the best Japanese food in the North East.

There is so much available in Portland and most of it is within walking distance!

Thanks, you think it would be a gamble to snag some bottles on Sunday based on past releases?

I think Tiarna is also an old batch from their facebook
'As an added bonus, we’ll also be pulling out some bottles of Tiarna—a barrel-aged, mixed fermentation saison—from our stash (2 bottle limit).'
And highly likely the beers will be around on Sunday (I could be wrong though)

Question for those that frequent Bissell Brothers, as I will be in Maine tomorrow through Saturday, and have never been! I see they have a can release nearly every day. Do the cans typically last 'til the next day, or will I pretty much only be able to snag cans of that day's release? This week looks like Lux, Diavoletto, Substance, and Engram.

Barring a miracle they always sell out the day of release.
