Fantastic event again by Half Acre. Good times, great weather, and so many excellent brews. The star of the night for me was Double Coconut Benthic.

Fun time hanging with you @eppCOS . Already looking forward to August 2018!

So glad I went for the big beers right off the bat. They were gone by 7ish. That double coconut Benthic was like a chocolate coconut milkshake! Insane good.
I also enjoyed The Big North lactose peach pale ale. Great beer to end the night. Hopefully they put that in cans one day.

Yep, that was the only complaint. The "rare" beers were done by 7-8 PM. Would have preferred if they saved a few to tap late.

They got you a peach sour beer up by the entrance, where they poured our first beer.

Did Tomorrow People or Pony with Lime ever show up on tap? Those were the only 2 that I didn't see from the list of beers they posted on the Brown Paper Tickets event page.

Cinnamon Toast Crunch Benthic was insane! It kicked while I was in line for it at 4:30! Luckily it came back on shorty after.

Big North was awesome, had some differences from last year but I thought it was just as fun. For me the stand out beers were...

    1. Double Coconut Benthic - just an absolutely incredible take on a coconut stout, for my money it may be better than the original Prop was

    2. Peaches - this was that special beer you got if you collected all of the buttons, it was very well done. Reminded me of Jester King's Fen Tao, one of the best peach sours I've had

    3. Daisy Tornado - woah, just ridiculously dank, would love to try it again

Honorable mentions - Amargosa, Dry Hopped Life on Land, Cabell, Mythic, BA Big Hugs, The Big North

This is probably obvious based upon my post, but wow the Half Acre sour program is going really well. They're doing very good things.

    What a day!

Good Christ. Delicious. Even my balls hurt this morning (no, not from any action). Had to eat at Dove's Luncheonette a short while ago to get rid of the dog-fuzz in my brain.
Great event... With you on the beers, still love the hell out of that Daisy Toronado. Yes, yes, it's on tap at the regular room, but it was one of the few beers to make me double-take last night...
To my taste, that SHOULD be the new Daisy Cutter.
Started in too early on the BA stuff and man, did I need a break by 6... cheers all, especially to @BSiegs for allowing me to play old man third wheel.

Couple of shots from last night at the BN 2017 event
First, the outdoor space is INSANELY large...4 bands? Fantastic (for those who missed it).
Second, the new taproom space (not sure if completely finished, but certainly functional.

See you around at the usual HA taproom in the next few months, Chicagoans...

Battle of Trenton and Peaches were my big favorites, loved them both. Cinnamon toast crunch benthic too. Dry hopped Life on Land, Mythic, all the Brett and wild stuff, I love this new dimension of Half Acre.

I really wasn't into Toronado Daisy anymore. Having it a couple weeks ago, it was a juicy delight, but last night I was getting tons of dank onion and chive that was off putting for me
