What Do You Buy By The Case?

I probably buy 12 or so cases of NG Moon Man a year. I have one of those basically every day with the random day off...

Other then that

BCBS most recently
3 or 4 Cases of Ale Asylum Ambergeddon annually
1 FBS
1 CW BBBW/BBS/Peruvian Morning each
1 CW Satin Solstice
2 Two Hearted
2 Lake Front IPA's

Most stuff besides that is 6/12 packs for me.

 

Haven't gone the case route on too many beers...

Zombie Dust

 

By the case beers have to meet three critera for me:

1. Ages well or relatively well
2. I like to drink it often or relatively often if it ages well
3. Trade-able if I get tired of it or if it has value to get what I don't have access to

BCBS and Founders FBS in the last 3 months have fit this category.

 

The last case I bought was Abyss 2009. I learned my lesson after that.

I buy 3 cases of Eclipse a year, but that's split between different varieties, so it's not technically a case (12 bottles) of any one beer.

wow...i lived in ROC for a while and you could'nt pay me to drink that stuff. everybody has different tastes i guess..i like this thread a lot

What I'd like to buy by the case (if available, and funds are plentiful; which is rare):
BCBS, Heady Topper, Surly Furious, KBS, Nugget Nectar, Bramble Rye, RARE, Mother of all Storms, Parabola, Sucaba, Black Tuesday, Sans Pagaie, Chocolate Rain, KH, Maple Barrel Aged Maple Fayston...I think this could be a very long list.

A few random cases through the year to keep in fridge for weekly drinking or parties.

 

only beers i'd get by the case would be

But since these aren't available to me, I just grab a few bottles when I see them because I have a limit when coming back home. bummer..

 

Heady Topper at least once a month
Zombie Dust when I trade 16 Heady's for it (technically not a buy I guess!)
MoaS which I will always buy at least a case of for as long as I can.

I never really used to buy by the case, but now that I settled down on trading, I've been doing more of it.

Probably bought 3 cases in the last month...

Typically, the only craft I buy a case of would be SNPA or Torpedo. However, I recently bought cases of FBS and Brooklyn BCS. Actually, half cases of each were purchased at different locations to help share the love.

 

None anymore. I'm getting too old for case buying.

 

The only beer that I buy by the case is Zombie Dust.
