I have to agree, it seems like I am the only home brewer thats wife supports the obsession. She brews just as well as I do. Man I am sorry for the guys that have the opposite!!

I have snapped more times then enough-mainly when fighting a siphon years ago....and vowed it would never be worth it again!!!! Right now I am sipping a 4 year old quad, having just had a 4 year old UK barleywine.....stop? I doubt it....

If you drank some of my early batches, you'd be amazed that I ever returned to the hobby. As it was, I didn't have the benefit of the collective wisdom of the internet. There was no one to tell me that I could just pass off my infected beers as Belgians.

Just had my second kid, so lack of free time has slowed down my brewing considerably, but I will always brew. Similar to a post above, the wife is super supportive, so i get flack when there's nothing on tap.
I'd rather brew less than not at all. These days I've been trying to make beers that also work as sours(browns, Belgians, wheats) so I can make 10 gallons, dry hop 5 gals and sour the other.

If my beers started getting consistently worse for an extended period of time, and I no longer enjoyed making or consuming beer.
