Be sure to try the brett foeder Saison too if you're into that kind of style, it's fantastic.

I would imagine all of their Saisons and Farmhouse Ales are quite tasty

Potentially humorous aside: I recently had a gose from Bhamari that might have been the worst beer I've ever had, and I keep seeing "Bhavana" here and wondering, "How can anyone like those beers much less be this excited?"

Oh. Bhavana. Bhamari. Not the same thing :sunglasses:

Definitely are. I just thought that foeder one really stood out. Great level of funk and tartness.

I'm flying into Atlanta tomorrow night (staying in Buckhead) and driving to Hayesville on Saturday; any suggestions on what to pick up (and where to find it along the way or near by hotel) to enjoy in the mountains?

Yeah Grove was pretty freakin fantastic. Waiter said they're not canning soon but they'll be doing bottles of a Rose beer and mango sour. Growlers of Grove should be available next week.

I've heard that they're canning Grove soon, in the next month or so, but we'll see.

Yeah I'm really hoping the waiter was wrong about that.

As a New England expat, I'm certainly willing to "try" to lend some assistance. Others closer to that area may know far better but, from my perspective, Clay County NC is not all that close to some viable options. That said, if it were me (and I had a rental car or was travelling with someone with a car), I would take a day and drive up to Asheville or down to Athens. Alot of options in the Asheville area and I think Creature Comforts in Athens is a pretty kewl place and make some really good beer (Tropicalia being my go-to). Either way, both locations have a great vibe and I am guessing the traffic is going to be completely nuts due to the solar eclipse on Monday.

Anyone try White Lily from Fullsteam? Pictures on Untappd look good.

I was wondering the same thing. Seems to be getting pretty good reviews so far.

Regarding the talk about Burial IPAs lately...bought a Gang of Blades can tonight and it's a diacetyl mess. Shame.

Not overly impressed with FS' offerings on the whole so no comment regarding this beer. However, a few comments: (i) The perfect 5 star rating I saw was from one of the guys who works there. (ii) "Fullsteam’s mission is to create distinctly Southern beer that celebrates the farm and food traditions of the American South." Ummmmm? Okay. (iii) "Lily"? I think someone in their design / canning operation misspelled the owner's middle name.

WBC is absolutely selling cans out of their taproom (when they have them).

No question about it. This was a response about people that have been getting WBC beers outside of Wilmington (there is no distro, bottle shops are picking it up themselves).

Comprehension fail on my part!

Came here to say that Hey!Beer just got cans of WBC's Lemur Party, so they recently canned that (at least). And I just got some Ass Clown IPA that I understand is a new, complete revamp of the mediocre beer that I have been ignoring since the first one I tried- we will see. In defense of Ass Clown, I will say that their Orange Citrus IPA is delicious, very consistent, and I drink the hell out of it. If you're in/near Wilmington, Hey!Beer just got a batch canned on 8/18.
