Saint Errant Brewing is brewing their beer at Mikerphone. I don't think it's a Mikerphone Brewer, but I don't know for sure. They did the collaboration beer, Get It Together with Mikerphone which was okay, but the Strange Loops was just Saint Errant and it was really good.

And yes it was Trendiii 3 at OIB. I actually enjoyed the sweetness, but I agree a little hop bite could do some good. Still, it was a huge improvement from the first one.

Saint Errant is two brewers, not employees at Mikerphone. They've been homebrewers for a bit, but they've poured at a few events the last couple years. They're friends with Mike, they put helped put on and brew Pale Pauper.

    Hmmm. 12oz.

Maybe in Cans? Maybe a Marz beer finally worth paying the crazy price in packaged format?

    Who am I Kidding. It'll be $25.

They had it on draft at Big North. Was one of the most memorable beers I had that day. Really refreshing pale ale. Liked it a good bit.

Second this. It was my favorite pale ale/IPA I had at BN. Soft mouthfeel. Closest thing to a NE style IPA I've had from HA. Might have to pick a howler up this weekend.

Having Foggy Geezer from Warpigs right now. Definitely not foggy/hazy at all. Completely crystal clear, even more clear than Lazurite. Not NE style at all. Nice fruity IPA but I definitely prefer Lazurite.

    Potentially this Saturday:
    -More for the stout release
-Pipeworks Dojo for the Interboro collab
-Corridor for Squeeze It V3 crowlers
-The Beer Temple to check out the new taproom

Quite a weekend in local beer

...trying Piece (brews) and Pizza tonight -- guess they're not on the haze wagon yet, given that I see ZERO feeds for them here on BA. Hmm... I'll prepare myself for average beer, and decent pizza, and then hopefully I'll be pleasantly surprised if either or both are better than average or decent. Haven't had time yet for FR but getting there this coming week, dammit. Cheers all.

The pizza is banging and they have some award winning beers. It's all if you like the styles or not.

Piece is awesome. Beers are solid and pizza is top notch. Local established brewers don't have to jump on the haze wagon because they are doing fine on their own. It's the new breweries that need the NEIPAs to get noticed with all the competition out there. I

A few years ago Piece was pretty hyped. I think it has died down due to all the other new options that keep popping up. Still above average pizza and beer I have to say.

Hops & Giggles was fantastic. Really great representation and on par with Corridor. Highly recommend this one.

Try The Weight if it's on tap. It is largely considered to be identical to Zombie Dust and they have finished side by side in judging in previous fests. After dinner, Links is right around the corner and usually has a stellar tap list.

Stellar taplist at twice the price of other bars in the city.

I love links and spend a ton of time in there, but their pour size to price ratio is terrible. Not trying to dissuade you from going because I still think it's worth a visit but just be prepared for some sticker shock.
