Question about BXLBeerFest 2017

"Like" as appreciation. I wish it were otherwise. Sorry I couldn't get there and jealous of everyone who enjoyed it.

 

Any news from the assholes that gave 50 euro to mules to buy the Cantillon bottle (and reselling them online for 300) ?

"Lambic BXLBeerfest 2018 by Cantillon" sounds pritty vague to me.
But the drink list is fenomenal! I heard they wil have the Magic lambik for tasting! Nvere had the chanse to taste him so I am looking forwad to it!
And all the other breweries aswell, also want to try all the Tilquin variants.

It seems to be a blend of two different 3 years old lambics, kind of a GCB but carbonated. Not available to drink on-site during the festival, only available through the sold out special pack.

 

untappd beerlist is a damn lie
most brewery's have 4 beers on site instead of their 8 - 12+

the ones i wanted to drink were mostly the ones that they did not serve, asking why it is on the available beer list then.. they just could not answer

 

That is a pity. Did you Saturday visitors leave anything for us Sunday comers to quaff?! But seriously, was this late in the day and they had run dry? Although in that case wouldn't the people at the stands simply have explained they'd run out?... Well, I won't bother studying the Untappd list, then.

But the real, actionable question is, are there lists at the place that accurately show what's on? Or do you just have to walk by the stands and kind of look out of the corner of your eye?

the shop got raided so hard, came in at 13.30 +- and all the mules hoarded cantillon allready, u get that when there are no limits on the 1pp loons.

if you haven't tried jester king yet, their spon muscat and sacred vessel are out of this world

All the cantillon mules did their job.
But when you arrive at the shop it is extremely hard to land a "special bottle". But here they were available in the number that you wanted... Strange!
