    Thanks!

Wish I had gotten an email. Funny though - I literally checked yesterday around 2pm, but that went up near 4pm.

Thanks for that! Going to have to make a trip down now next Friday.

As a follow-up, wanted to correct the name of the newest NE IPA available for consumption at Rock Bottom College Park; it is Slowroll (not Lower Rider), as I thought I heard the bartender say last weekend. Cheers!

For those of you who live in the Indianapolis area, Tweny Tap in Broad Ripple re-opened this past Tuesday. That are back and better than ever with an outstanding lineup of some very fine Indiana beers. I thought the 450 North Eclipse was pretty damn good too!

Have a friend who will be around South Bend next weekend. Besides grabbing me a case of Zombie and some other 3Floyds on the way back, what else should she grab/ look for? I'm a Hazy IPA guy.

450 North and Windmill Brewing is what you want to be looking for in stores. Just make sure to check the dates.

I grabbed Fruity Nuggets from 450 North this week. Best hazy IPA I've had in Indiana (most Indiana "NE" beers I've had haven't been hazy or juicy enough to fit the style, IMO). Still not in the same league as what they're producing on the East and West coasts, but passable.

In the past few weeks I've finally managed to track down some stuff from 450 Brewing. I've tried Dank Candy: Rainbow Drops, Space Haze, Citra Rainbows, Juice Box and now Fruity Nuggets. The Citra Rainbows was a couple months old but still really solid and I'm sure it would be great if it were more fresh. Space Haze to me was fantastic and probably my favorite followed closely but Citra Rainbows and Fruity Nuggets. Not all of them are hazy or NE style beers but the quality is there and I'm pretty excited to be able to drink beer like this I find on the shelf in Indiana. I love the artwork on Space Haze and Fruity Nuggets

Honestly I feel like I'm benefiting from something that people aren't willing to believe is true, or won't even try, because it's Rock Bottom. I made quick visits Friday and Saturday night, took home a growler of Slow Roll for $20 that my wife and I slayed in one sitting yesterday afternoon. Goddamn it is good stuff. I literally have not seen a single person drinking either of their NE IPAs on any of the three visits I made in the last week and a half.

Spent most of Friday night at Deviate. The coconut pale ale, SPF67, is killer, if you like coconut (which I certainly do). Smoking Trigger is packing a ton of heat; anybody that loves a flavorful spicy stout with a lot of heat needs to check that out...

I drank a lot of the Maui Wowie a few weeks ago....drank through a couple growlers of it. They still don't get a lot of traffic and I believe they made a ton of Maui....so it was on for several weeks. I've been going at least weekly outside of last week because I was out of the country. I'm sure I'll swing by wednesday night after work this week. I think people are aware, but this isn't exactly the side of town people go to regularly so I'd expect the traffic pattern to continue....which is fine by me.

I hope to get over to Rock Bottom soon. I've heard quite a few awesome things about the beer they are putting out.

    A couple questions.

    1. Has anyone opened their RIS from Deviate? How is it? I haven't had a chance to pick mine up yet.

    2. This is for "All" Breweries in Indiana. I'm looking for Metal Brewery signs from Indiana Breweries. Think about metal signs from "American Pickers," but instead of it being gas stations, it is breweries. I'm looking for a friend. The signs I have seen have largely not been too big - around 1 ft. x 1 ft. Has anyone seen any of these metal signs from Breweries like Upland, Taxman, Deviate, Sun King, etc.?

I'm nowhere near the extreme NW part of Indiana, so not looking for anything out there.

    Thanks guys.

Thanks. Ironically, I found that shortly after the previous post. I had missed it during initial sweep.

Got to try Slow Roll and Maui Wowie a couple weeks ago. My first experience with NE IPAs and both were amazing!

With Orange Memesicle, Windmill may be the second best brewery in NWI. At $14 per 4 pack, cost is very reasonable too.

Its $16 for 16oz 4 pack. I do like their Meme series, Mème de la Crème was my favorite so far.
