Interested in what people thought of the: Sweet Yamma Jamma (Sweet Potato Ale) Haywire (Double Black American Ale) beers. Hoping to get up to the taproom to snag up a bottle or two wednesday.

No! I really wanted to... Do you know for sure that they have bottles left? They are open on Wednesdays now?

Why are there some many beer releases in MN right now?!?

oops, thursday I think is when they open. I intended to go that night, but a friend suddenly had free time and we just kept opening beers and then it was like 10 at night. oops.

I went. It was pretty fun. Yamma Jamma is pretty awesome. Tastes like a sweet pumpkin ale to me. Also enjoyed haywire and the poblano midnight ryder. Although the latter definitely got kind of intense with the chile flavor.

I enjoyed Sweet Yamma Jamma more than Haywire. Sweet Yamma Jamma had a nice sweet potato flavor without being over spiced, I'm not big on pumpkin beers so I wasn't sure about a sweet potato beer, I rather enjoyed my pint of it.
Haywire certainly does taste like an beefed up version of Midnight Ryder. Personally I like Midnight Ryder on Cask better than I like it on tap, so a more intense Midnight Ryder on tap wasn't my thing. It would be interesting to try it on Cask. If you really enjoy Midnight Ryder, you will probably like Haywire.

Both yamma jamma and haywire were solid. The hullabalucy that blue door was serving up was straight awesome. Also a big fan of the day tripper cask dry hopped with glacier. The aroma on it was killer. All around, it was a great event!

Was impressed with every beer they had Saturday, except for the pepper infused.. Great brewery!
