Anybody there late yesterday that can say if/how many cans of Refraction were still availible? Grabbed some early in the day yesterday, but want to go back for more. Shit is delicious!

 

I left around 5:00pm and there was still a lot (they still had a 3 4-pack limit). It was my first time there, so I have no idea how fast it goes.

 

Hey @TransientArtisanAles any plans to be open over the long holiday weekend, i.e., into Monday or Tuesday of next week? If you're on the fence and care about this schmuck's opinion, I vote yes.

 

Anybody know if there are Mind to Devour cans left or if it's on tap? TIA

 

according to Facebook there were cans on Mind left and it was in tap. I'm crossing my fingers for a different can release tomorrow

 

Any can releases this week?

 

Cans were gone by Sunday but they had growler fills (750's were their only remaining vessels). They had the Czech Yourself Pils and the Big Rip (?) Michigan hopped IPA still in cans.

Also, ABVChicago drank with Chris today so I assume that episode drops Wednesday

 

Looks like a lot of bottles dropping this Friday. A couple saisons and an east coast IPA with bret. Check their FB for better details.

 

What are the growler fill prices like at Transient? I couldn't see it on their board posted on FB. And do they fill blank flip top growlers ?

 

Any word on when/if there are more bottles coming for IL members this membership year?

Haven't heard anything recently, but the recent bottles of Vacillate & Objectification have me itching for an IL release....

 

Aren't we owed a party? It's been so long since I paid for the Illinois membership, that I can't remember. I think I paid last October, and here it is almost September 2017.

 

I'm with you. I wonder if the Aquanaut lease situation impacted the party planning as well? Two options I've thought of for a possible alternate party location - the new Beer Temple taproom (not sure on capacity)? or at Hailstorm or Open Bottle (I know he has good relationships with both & I believe they have the capacity). The Beer Temple having a Transient neon gives a positive signal to me about the future of their beer in IL.

Hopefully we'll have some type of update from Chris in the near future...

 

Not sure on capacity but the new Beer Temple seemed similar in size to The Open Bottle.

 

Wasnt the party supposed to be in Michigan? I thought it was one party for both memberships.

 

One party for IL membership during the last (second) release. MI is more for tap room benefits and a party is not part of the setup.
