Tired Hands (August 2017)

Updates were great. Wish they let us know if it sold out though

 

Apparently they have 30 cases of Eviscerated and 20 of Alien Church.

 

Saw that they've been adding some Treehouse-ish current-updates on what's left on the Instagram. That's pretty cool.

 

So send the "line wranglers" out when. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5? So gauge allotments based on the line length at x o'clock. That's not the way to do it.

Look, as much as I don't like standing in line, it's first come, first served. They announce allotments based on what they think demand will be and based on what supply they have, that's all they can do. If you really want the beer, get in line early and you'll get it. The decision is up to you. If you work like many of us do during the week, then it's a call you have to make if you think beer will be there when you get there. Nothing more you can do, nothing more TH can do.

The other thing you have to consider too is if you decrease allotments on more sought after or popular beers, will people even make the trek if they only get (for example) one 4-pack? Maybe not, some people come a long way, one 4-pack probably won't be worth a trip. Is that really want TH wants? Probably not.

That being said, I was in line last night at 5. Got served at about 6:20 and had full allotment. At such a low yield of the Are You Okay, I expected them to be sold out, but they probably had 15 cases left at that time I got through. Plenty of AC and EPoB and they also had a ton of HH available too. It was a long line, but it wasn't a Milkshake line. I hope the beer is good, going out on a limb on these two.

Update: As I type, Instagram just updated to show both AC and EPoB will be available behind the bar at opening today. 20 cases of AC and 30 EPoB. AC is still selling pretty good, a little shocking becasue it's released so often (although I still love it).
