How much are each of these cans on average? Thinking about flying up but I see these can releases don't do crowlers..

Ugh... I really wish Fieldwork didn't stagger their releases like this. I can go to Fieldwork maybe once, and at most twice, a week. I just don't have the time to drop by more often.

Did any one actually taste "strawberry banana yogurt" in the last batch of Overripe? It sounds really interesting and I might just have to make my way out.

Man, had some Saint Thomas last night at Berkeley and good god I thought it was out of this world. Super bummed they ran out right after I got my pour. Anyone else think this batch of Saint Thomas was out of this world good?

Hmm...I had it in Sac last night. I brought 2 growlers for whatever I want for this weekend. I thought it was very fine and fresh but it seems a bit soft and passive. I don't mean that to sound like a knock - I love FW. It had an ethereal quality but wasn't really 'bringing it'. I would up getting a growlers of Broken Clouds DIPA and their Belgian Brown (out of curiosity-never had it).

Same in the Sacramento tap room. King Citra cans SOLD OUT. Few cases of Bloomsday and Finer Things left.

Overripe and Virtual Planetoid cans on sale Sat.

Pretty nice weekend with 5 different cans being released.

This batch of King Citra is a bit of a let down, not disappointed that I missed cans in Sac. Got Bloomsday, hope it's as good as the last time I had it, especially since I'm muling it to relatives in Portland with some Moonraker stuff this weekend.

Virtual Planetoid you say? I might have to make a trip up to Sac tomorrow.

That last batch of KC was seriously next level stuff. Not sure if they can soar to such great heights again.

What made it so good? The just released batch was the first time I've had it.

Thanks for the reply. I felt like what I had last night tasted like a straight up citrus bomb. Didn't feel passive. Granted I was a few beers down...

Picked up cans of Overripe and Finer Things earlier in Berkeley. Finer Things is tasting so good in this heat!

If the release cans of Virtual tomorrow my fridge is seriously going to be full of Fieldwork!

Tropical fruit explosion. It was probably the most mango-forward beer I've ever had and they didn't even use mangos in the brewing process. My favorite beers from them tend to have a high level of expression from yeast and the last batch of KC was the most expressive (that i've had).

Are you signed up to their emailing list? They sometimes (like with Virtual Planetoid) give a heads up to their subscribers before mentioning anything on social media.

Yeah, I am. I haven't gotten an email from them since june. It looks like the Fieldwork San Mateo facebook account has the release info. Surprised it wasn't mentioned in the main account.

That's a bit odd. I got an email with the Virtual Planetoid (and Island Time) announcement. It also mentioned the Overripe! release.

Having the Broken Clouds now. I do prefer it to the St Thomas. I'm disappointed I wasn't able to get King Citra this time. I've had it 3 other times and it's a benchmark. Happy to see Virtual Planetoid return - I had it when I was there for my bday in late july. I'll report back when I have the belgian brown. I really don't know what to expect out of this but I'm sure I will be surprised in some fashion.
