I would think brewing on your own system, no matter how large, will be vastly different than on an automated system halfway across the country.

The last 3 bottles ive had from TG,,, Fresh King Sue, Fresh Supa Sumo, and fresh Pompeii , none are worth the price really, i have access to these and can easily buy them, they are not worth the price IMO TG is living on there past and paying $10 -$12 for sub brews im not going to do it any more

Hm, interesting! I've been hearing positive things about this recent (bottled) batch of Sumo. Was going to trade for some, but not sure after seeing this.. Is it commonly accepted here that this batch is not up to par with previous (draft-only) batches?

What is commonly accepted here is that no TG beer is ever as good as the past versions! :stuck_out_tongue:

For me, while their offerings are good, for the money there are enough local options that are cheaper that I will pick up instead of most TGs beers.

Right now I rather suck down some Lupulin Hooey (~$13 for 4 pounders) or Blissful Ignorance (~$12 for 4 12oz can). To me, these are great beers and a better value for my money.

I don't know if this is the same line of thought for @gatornation, but this is the reason why I would say a lot of TG beers are not worth it for their price point.

    But... YMMV.

As for Sumo, there is plenty of it, so it should not be hard to get. If you want it, go for it and see for yourself.

Did you drink them all tonight? Holy run-on sentence. Six lines and not a period to be found. I partially agree though, the bomber prices are a bit steep. Still great IPAs. In my opinion, the best available on shelves (or from a brewery) in the cities.

    P.S. 'their'

Everyone on my untppd is liking this batch of Sumo.I didn't try previous batches so I can't compare but I think it's a great beer and really wish I would tried the previous batches if they are noticeably better than this.

This is first batch of sumo bottles and it was very good, though this batch of KS was a little too malty. Last batch of Sosus was on point.

I meants batches of beer in general and I agree on the the last KS batch also thought the last Sosus bottling wasn't nearly as great as the previous 2 .
