I believe this limit was instituted a couple months ago. The reason I heard was that unscrupulous store owners who couldn't get product through distro were finding homeless people, bussing them in and using them to get 6 cases a piece.

I had no problem with them limiting the case numbers on Zombie Dust...because that's what everyone was loading up on. I had a problem with them telling folks they could only have two cases PERIOD...even if you were doing them the kind favor of buying shit that didn't typically fly off the shelf. However, the key word is "had." I have no issues with it currently. I've opted to exercise my right to by other brewers' beers on account they're every bit as good, and I can make sure the good local people of NW Indiana aren't at risk of going to FFF and not being able to get their fix. Because I know it's hard for them to visit the brewery with any kind of regularity like us east coasters that used to get distribution but no longer see it. :stuck_out_tongue:

I dont put six packs on the shelf or stack it. It stays in the back. And actually, starting last week, i've decided not to put bombers out either. I've got far too much stuff to leave empty holes on my shelves.

You should keep bringing this up because the reason no one agrees with you or cares is because you haven't talked about it enough.

I understand that. I actually just started putting the bombers on the shelves, even tough putting out DIPAs is against my religion, just to sell more. It helps the out of towners.

Saw a bottle of Dreadnaught sitting on a shelf at the store where I usually get some of my beer on Saturday, don't remember if they had any cold. Maybe I'll have to keep it a secret to pick it up myself! (Didn't check yesterday when I went in to get 2 more bottles of BCBS as I had no idea this stuff was limited / sought after / whatever. Initially only got 1 bottle when an employee there recommended it. I'm still learning. :stuck_out_tongue:).

It's not limited, they just haven't sent any to Indy in almost two months. So wherever you find that bottle it won't be fresh.

I was referring to the BCBS part in my post regarding the limited part and what was in parentheses.

Anyway, maybe I'll get that Dreadnaught if it's still there next time I'm getting beer, so I can at least try it, even if it's not fresh. Currently still have a Moloko sitting in the fridge (of which I always see a bunch cold, as well as Arctic Panzer Wolf, so there's no shortage of that over here, like you said earlier).

At Otto's in Milwaukee we get only a couple cases of Bruce, Gumball and Alpha king, and pride and joy in each month now. Distributors havent been getting any in WI lately. We do have Dreadnaught, Arctic Panzer, and Moloko in stock at the moment though.

We over at Antioch Fine Wine and Liqours have been getting a steady supply of all Three Floyds products except the Gumballhead and Zombie Dust. Gumballhead will sporadically come in every 2-3 weeks at 1 or 2 cases at a time. Zombie Dust just has not been seen :slight_frown: We literally have cases of bombers sitting on the floor for people to buy.

If they are buying 6 cases then they are...

A.) traveling from out of state and trying to stock up.
B.) reselling online or at a store.

It took me 7 months to get through a case of Bigfoot and a few weeks to get through a case of Union Jack. And I had to SHARE... Oooooooooooooooo.

I don't know where the Bigfoot comparison came from but that's a 9-10% barleywine. Drinking a case of Bigfoot compared to drinking a case of any FFF year round 6packs is absurd. I could knock out half of a case of any FFF beers (with the exception of the Bruce) in one night but wouldn't even come close to being able to do that with Bigfoot. Just sayin you can't use Bigfoot as a comparison.

ONE night? I think you can use it as a comparison, because 12 of ANY beer in one night, besides maybe Miller 64, is pretty crazy. Unless you started around 11am and ended around midnight. Just the fact that you said you can knock out 12 5-7%abv beers on any night makes me feel pretty decent that someone could be do well on a case of bigfoot; 9%. Just sayin. Just depends on how much ones loves that beer enough to go after it consistently.

Trust me I'm very aware of that. So to quote a great man, Homer J. Simpson, "Everyone is stupid except me."

So, how bout that FFF shortage...?
