A bartender is telling people 1pm. The bartender is wrong. Strong Hand is tomorrow.

 

Yeah I was told 1 by the bartender as well...

 

Bartender queue is 30 deep as of now.

 

No line at 1:15. No Strong Hand.

 

No line. Plenty of seats. Plenty of cans of DDH Loose Candies. No Strong Hand today according to the bartenders.

Really liking ddh loose candies. Probably my favorite I've tried from them so far

 

Back 2 Skool, Dusty, Climbing through Windows, and DDH Loose Candies.

Plenty of guest taps. Including 18th Street Hunter Coconut.

DDH Loose Candies is worth the visit. On a different level than Loose Candies.

 

Does it taste less like a green onion than the original Loose Candies batch?

 

I'm not getting any green onion. It's definitely more bitter than some people prefer their neipas to be though

 

No green onion from the small sample I had. Very hazy looking and a little bit of bitterness.

 

Anyone have any idea how the stock of cans is looking? Thanks in advance.

 

I sat and had lunch so I didn't see what was behind the bar. And even if I had who knows how much they have in the back. But I told my server I wanted to get cans to go and asked if I needed her to grab them now - she said no there's plenty. Dusty lasted a few days, but it's a holiday weekend - who knows

 

Just left. Plenty of cans. Saw them bring more from back as well.

 

They’re actually going pretty fast. Just saw a huge group of teachers leave with a bunch.

 

I like this stuff. It reminds me of Check 1,2 (the good version that didn't turn a week old).

Comparing this to Corridor and FR (fairly or unfairly (big woop, wanna fight about it?)), the look, smell, and to a degree taste are there. But the mouth feel is still lacking. It's still pretty thin.

I'll give it a Pitchfork 7.2.

I agree. It's not thin, per se, but if it were just a bit fuller, it'd be excellent.

 

I was hoping to stop in tomorrow at open on my way through. Anyone have an update on DDH Loose candies? Will it be around tomorrow at open? Thanks guys and gals.

 

I'm hoping to do the same, and also am betting on them releasing Strong Hand tomorrow as well. Anyone hear anything about that one tonight?
