    Who wants to drink some beers on (most) Thursdays in the LA area? Looks like that's going to be my weekly night out to explore the scene.

    This Thursday (8/31) I'm sticking closer to home and hitting up El Segundo Brewing Co. at around 6pm and then Rob Rubens Distilling & Brewing.

    On Thursday (9/7) I'll be drinking some proper pints at Yorkshire Square Brewery in Torrance starting at around 6pm.

    And then on Thursday (9/14) it's back to Torrance to visit Smog City Brewing at 5pm and Monkish Brewing Co. at 7pm.

    Skipping 9/21 as I'll be in Portland, Maine to host Beer Meets Wood.

    9/28: Rescheduled for October

    One suggestion. Skip Cosmic and spend more time at Smog and/or Monkish.

    Had some solid beers at El Segundo. Place was packed! Ten IPAs and three lagers on the board, too. :heart_eyes:

    Rob Rubens was a bit weird. Felt like they were trying too hard.

    Looking forward to Yorkshire Square next week!

    I have things happening the next two planned Thursdays but can make 9/28. I'll throw a suggestion in for downtown. Close to a dozen breweries there. Also, it's close to me and the day before mah berthday, so, there's that.

    I've liked everything I've had from Mumford. Arts District looks like they have a large and tasty tap list. I'm also seeing a barcade type taproom from their pictures. Angel City has a nice open taproom.

    I'm still new to town myself so I haven't had a chance to visit many of the breweries down in that area so I would defer to someone local.

    I think the most sociable places to gather (ie shufflepuck, cornhole, etc.) would be either Boomtown or Arts District. As for beer quality, probably Mumford, Indie or Boomtown would be safe bets.

    How about a trip down to the OC for any combination of The Bruery, Bottle Logic, Noble, Green Cheek, Unsung, Chapman Crafted, The Good Beer Company, etc...

    The invite sounds fun. But I don't do mid week and anything after 5. Especially in the LA or South Bay Area. Plus I don't do Monks period. Too many good OC places nearby to hit up these days.

    I did Arts District in May. Never been to Boomtown, and I only hit Mumford quickly. I wouldn't mind a longer visit and checking out Boomtown.

    I've also never been to Wurstküche before. They opened one in Denver while I was living there, but they couldn't cut it and pulled out after less than a year. I'd give it a try, but my expectations aren't too high so I could easily skip it unless convinced otherwise.
