Quad dry hop would be odd. Generally speaking dry hopping is going to occur within 3-7 days before packaging, so squeezing 4 dry hops into that time span just introduces too many chances to oxidize the beer.

Double is good, triple is just taking gimmicky to the next level.

Yeah - just so im clear - my post wasn't meant to seem like a desire to see QDH happen

Burley Oak just released Head Stash AF which they say is quadruple dry hopped.

Yeah just cracked one open. Tasting very nice. A little spicy, fruity, and no alcohol heat.

I thought Triple Dry Hopping was a gimmick until I had a TDH A Piece Of The Action from The Answer. It was a TDH Mosaic beer and after I had that I was like, "ok, maybe we should be Triple Dry Hopping all the beers."

Unfortunately we would probably have to start paying TH prices for a TDH beer.

Counter point: 3rd Anniversary and Raining Threes were "triple dry hopped" and were both $20/4-pack.

Yeah whenever I'm at OH I'll hear DOOM or J Dilla. Other Half and Singlecut generally have great tunes. I'll also have to give a shout out to Coney Island Brewery which played Eyedea when I was there a few weeks back. That was a pleasant surprise to hear!

Really want to try the Triple Cream as I'm a sucker for the fluffy oat/lactose beers. Hopefully I can get it on tap a week or so after. Plus, I'm pretty disappointed in the amount of AGE I bought -- this is not the beer I remember the first time I had it 3 years ago -- both in terms of taste (Where are you Dankness??) and ABV. So another Triple IPA may be too extra. Or it may be fucking delicious.

Eagerly Awaiting DDH Citra Daydream though. And Green Power.

Oh I meant if every beer they produced was TDH then I could see prices rising.

I would say you would probably be unlikely to get out by 11 if you show up by 9, when I've gotten on line at like 8-ish its usually taken me until 11:30 to get through the line but I'm not sure if they've managed to speed things up with the new taproom.

If you absolutely have to be cashed out by 11, there's no reason to risk getting stuck in the line so I'd suggest being one of the first 50 people around 6 to 630

Had my first can of DDH ACE from this weekend's batch... Man, if I had any doubts before about whether or not it was my favorite regular offering, that can pretty much nixed 'em. Felt like I was picking up on some softer 'melon-y' flavors (like those that came through in spades in Green Power) than I typically do in that beer. Nothing harsh or astringent about it.

Either way, the fact that cans lasted for 3 (?) full days is pretty freakin' cool. Was able to stroll in on Saturday afternoon and grab a 4-pack without a minute's wait. The 'double batch' implementation is one of my favorite changes OH has made in recent months and is super helpful to 'locals' like myself who just want to be able to grab a 4-pack without biking to Gowanus and waiting on a 3-hour line at 8am on Saturday morning.

yeah, i was able to walk in Monday afternoon and get cans of Forever Ever w/ Enigma and Centennial -- I think i JUST missed DDH ACE as there were people there with cans, but none available for sale. Really enjoying DDH Forever Ever too. Would have been an awesome beer at the start of the summer.

I know you weren't asking for a poll, but fyi the Veil/Monkish collab "InSink" was quad dry hopped. And no, it wasn't discernibly different/better/necessary.

Thanks for the info! I can't see myself waiting 3 hours for cans, so I guess I'll be skipping out this time.
