From what I was made to understand, distribution on cans will cease. You might still find bombers but cans are donezo. My days are numbered too, unfortunately.

Thanks, I thought I saw it mentioned before in a previous thread. I was hoping that was just a bad dream though. :frowning2:

They do and they overpriced. Might have to ask for Grimm. They tend to hide it.

Thanks much, is there a particular dept. where they're hidden? Asked the cheese folks, and they looked baffled....

Just saw bottles for $17 each in Astoria. Trying to set a record I think.

I've been complaining about this place for months. At one point they were $19 and dropped back down to $17...

That's really disappointing, even if they do get them late. They used to be one of the most reliable spots to get affordable Grimm.

Usually the mgr near the registers will know. I haven't been there in a long time, but that's how it used to be.

Since there's been some folks asking thought I would throw out there that as of today The Shop at Threes apparently has all three bottles and at least one can of Lumen; Good Beer also posted on Instagram their delivery today which included Lumen and a few other tasty IPA's.

Seeing as some places are still getting cans, I'd wager WF will have them tomorrow.

hopefully, but correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the WF distro has been a bit spotty on cans the last few can releases... not all WF getting cans, and maybe one release not even hitting WF? I feel like awoogah never hit WF but maybe I missed it the day it happened... or I've just had bad luck Grimm hunting... lol...

Sounds like Afterimage is coming out next week. I usually pick up Grimm in Astoria stores, which typically get shipments on Friday. Unfortunately I will not be in the city Friday, so will probably have to pick up cans at WF. Anyone know how long Grimm cans typically last at WFs? Are they gone within hours or do they last until next day?

WF CC had awoogah but I think they got it at the very end of the period where it was being shipped around, it was like mid july vs late june. that batch actually lasted a while since it was post the initial rush / kind of dropped silently (sometimes they are flaky about beermenus too sometimes which helps keep the stock longer).

I always felt like WF Bryant Park lagged behind all the other WF in the city. Can distro itself has been spotty up by me in Rockland for months now. The guy at Cable said he hasn't gotten Grimm cans in at least 4 months, and I'm assuming the same is true at Growler and Gill since I only ever see them post pictures of bottles.

Bryant Park usually lasts at least a day since they never update their beermenus.

I saw Lumen unrefrigerated in a store and held back because I assumed it had sat like that 2 weeks (canning date said the 16th of August, I believe). Is there a chance it has been sitting there way less than that, based on comments about stores still not getting their shipments?
