I would agree. 800 is a lot of people. Granted, as someone posted in another group, Veil did not have any problem selling out Forever Summer in minutes, at a higher ticket price, but that was spread over 3 sessions and capped at 600 total. TBC does not nearly have the following outside of the local area than Veil though but as far as how much beer is being poured and number of guest breweries you get more beer (4oz pours vs. 3oz) from about the same number of guest breweries (23/24?) with a little bit longer of a session. Also, TBC guest breweries, while up and coming, don't carry the weight as the ones that poured at Veil but ticket cost was cheaper. I know we should not compare the two but just wanted to point out another event that would be similar from the area.

Lockout Series: Ascension DIPA (8%) - We are kicking it old school with the original circle stickers which we featured on the small first run of Ascension. Much is the same with round 2, very mango forward and has a super soft mouth feel. Generous amounts of Citra, El Dorado and Simcoe were put into the latest returning member in the Lockout Series.
We are looking for 120 cases and will be available this Friday 9/8 in Fulton.

I'm going to go out on a limb and speculate that these breweries almost ignoring the existence of each other is not because of a can release model preference. Mostly because triple crossing hasn't even been canning regularly for very long.
But hey, I'm not an insider so what do I know.

Smooth process when tickets went on sale this morning. As expected, with 800 cap, there's still GA and DD tickets currently. TBC did make note that they will have at least 4 of their beers included in the tickets as well as possibly "wild card" slots for attendees to choose a couple extra pours. Overall, I think the pricing is good. $75 for upwards of 108oz+ of beer from up and coming breweries that most likely the majority of people are not seeking out but are brewing solid stuff.

I think many are undervaluing the breweries that will be pouring. There are at least 8 to 12 fantastic breweries pouring at this event - there will be plenty of great beer!!!

They usually post updates but my brother picked some up last night after 9 so you're probably good.

Thanks, man. Just realized they're only at Fulton, so it doesn't matter anyway. I will be happy with Surprise Valley cans and a few pours.

Good news then, 20 cases at each brewery. They usually split them up Saturday if there is enough.

Yup, thanks - just figured that out. I think I may have just grabbed the last four pack of Ascension. Might have to play the lotto today.

Any intel on the beers the breweries will be pouring at the East Coast Covenant Beer festival? Appreciate any info available. Cheers!

2 cans releasing Friday at Fulton. I assume GRID will also be set at a 1 case limit and probably price point of $16 or $16.50/4pk.

The hop aromatics from this juice will hit you square in the face.Soft bright tropical notes intersect with a small amount of dankness rounding it out. Notes of passionfruit, guava, mango and peaches. We doubled down on two of our favorite hop varietals Mosaic and Falconers flight for this new offering.
We will be shooting for ~250 cases

    Clever Girl 6% IPA
Our counterpart to the crushable Falcon Smash. Clever Girl is an incredibly light-bodied, soft and dry American IPA with impressions of tropical citrus and dark berry floral aromas. Hopped generously with Citra and Mosaic hops.
We are shooting for 140 cases (1 case limit) at $14 a 4 pack.

I'm looking forward to that Clever Girl. I was on the fence about picking up Veil cans this week but I think i'll save my money for this. The last time I was at Foushee I saw they have DDH Falcon Smash coming out soon too.

Both are on tap right now at Fulton (galaxy DDH, mosaic downtown), and as always the Clever Girl is great, but the galaxy DDH Falcon Smash is incredible.

I think both beers will last that long, I was there a couple days ago and they had lots of cans from last week.

Should easily last but TBC does a great job updating social media with a few minutes after the last cans of something are sold.
