As mentioned, Pekko is doing distro for Shelton Brothers in DC (outside of NRG) so you can expect to see it a few times a year at select stores. Same goes for 3F.

ehhh near future is translating whatever I said very loosely. There are hopes of Cantillon coming back into distro in the "near" future in Virginia, as well as many other Shelton brothers brands. But that hasn't made much progress in months.

Cool thanks. I took my search to the SN Oktoberfest thread and the Sierra Bill or whatever his name is said it's no surprise I am not finding 12x12oz cans... since they only packaged them in 6ers.

Didn't know dominion did pours. Might be thinking of a different places. Thought that was a beer and wine store.

I'm headed down to Elkton for the weekend so I'm gonna swing by State Line. Someone mentioned in another thread that they keep all the limited release stuff in the back. Has anyone been recently, do they have anything worth picking up?

Crooked Run is really starting to dial in their NE IPAs. Had Another You at Iron Horse last night-- very good!

Their one of my local favorites now, and I may prefer them to Aslin. If they consistently canned there would be more chatter about them.

search their website and check new arrivals. they usually keep it up-to-date. the stuff in the back is where they keep stuff reserved. you can email them and they will hold bottles for you. once in a while folks don't pick up their stuff so you may get lucky if you ask them.

That was my first time stopping into the Braddock Inn. Really cool "old inn" feel of that place. And no crowds at all when I was there. Just 3-4 people so it was super-chill. I agree with you that their standard line-up stuff on tap was nothing too amazing (although I really liked their dubbel from recollection). What were thoughts on the Apricot and Cuvee sours?

So, you guys have always been fantastic with bottle shop recommendations. Anything solid in the Brightwood area and/or Mt. Pleasant/Park View? Thanks!

    Hey All --

I'm an NJ-based member of the Bruery Hoarder Society. For the past several years I've been paying through my eyeballs to have my beer shipped to me from CA. This year, I'm thinking about doing their DC fulfillment center option and making a couple of trips throughout the year to pick stuff up.

The new fulfillment center/tap room is going to be located at 513 Morse St. NE. Any color on what this area is like? Is it close by to the touristy stuff? I can look at it on a map, but its more helpful to have someone familiar with the area describe it. Thanks.

Up and coming area of town - close to Union Market a hipster weekend brunch destination and a ton of new restaurants and development - close to some local breweries and distilleries as well
