First trip to Denver - beer recs

Staying at Four Season for GABF- from Chicago. What's the must hit bars- looking to try some Weldworks and others- I know this is probably asked in the forum already but I don't have a car but can Uber easily! Thanks!

 

@KrajDoesBeer hey man is FR pouring anywhere for GABF or are you just coming out for pleasure? You should definitely pack your suitcase with some growlers/howlers/cans of some FR greatness...Just sayin . Anyway, to keep this on track WeldWerks will be on tap all over Denver that week. Their Taproom is approx an hour outside of Denver and there's no easy way to get there unless you want to pay about $75 for an Uber/Lyft each way. However, from your hotel you can hit up everything good in Denver via public trans/cab/Lyft/Uber/walking. Here's my list of must hit bars in Denver proper for you (in no particular order) :
-Hops & Pie
-Crafty Fox
-Falling rock
-Star Bar
-Freshcraft
-First Draft
-Finns Manor (very underrated/overlooked)

I'm sure others will chime in but that will definitely keep you going throughout your stay here. I'd love to meet up for some beers if you're down? PM me. Also, check out the GABF thread that just got started in this forum. There's some links to some awesome events/tappings.

Awesome man! I live 1.5 miles from your hotel in Capital Hill so very close. I haven't gotten a tic to GABF yet. Still debating if I'm going to get one from a scalper outside of the venue or not. I will definitely be attending a lot of the events during the week though. Hit me up as the date gets closer or if you have any more questions. Also, as a heads up about that Hops & Pie event, I've gone to that before and there's always a decent line to get in before they open. It's a very small place as well so I'd recommend getting there about 30 mins before the doors open. I highly recommend it as the beer list is insane obviously, the service is damn good for as busy as it is and their pizza is very similar to Piece.
