    Pretty sure they did check IDs for Imbibe tickets two years ago. They don't check the IDs on the general admission tickets though (all only had my name on them, no option to put guest names on last year)

    If they don't check ID's, what is preventing a non-IMBIBE member from getting in the hour early with IMBIBE members?

    It's a different ticket. Mine specifically says "FoBAB IMBIBE" on it.

    Oddly, still says General Admission though. But it's a different event ticket

    Yea I freaked out when I saw General Admission on my IMBIBE ticket at first. I thought I bought the wrong ticket but quickly realized that all of the IMBIBE tickets had that and not VIP for some reason.

    Unbelievably smooth process. I'm assuming with less people purchasing tickets because of the price increase demand wasn't too high on the website or servers

    So now we're also paying for beer that we're not drinking? I mean I'm all for not wasting tasty beer but this is a heck of a thing to make your attendees pay for.
