Drinking a DDH SSMS now and it is excellent.

That said, this is at most a $20 beer, not $22 and certainly not $24+. Fortunately, I live by the brewery, so I am able to pick up Singlecut beer at its direct price. However, the fact that the quality isn't commensurate with the price, coupled with the amount of oxidization issues I've experienced with Singlecut (I've had 7 bad cans this year alone), I'm going to become more select about what I purchase from them. I understand that they want to provide their employees with a "livable wage", but given that I, as a consumer with numerous fantastic (and better) local brewery options available, this really doesn't impact me as much as Singlecut is probably hoping.

I am more than happy to go to Singlecut with friends and get a few beers on tap (I actually think it has the best vibes of all NYC breweries) , but I don't really see much of a need to pick up four packs.

Not gonna lie, I got 2 SSMS cans because it was it part of a(n affordable) package and the one I drank tonight was superb. Maybe the best one I've ever drank, first batch included.

Holy crap! My buddy just sent me a pic of the tasting room and the growler prices are ridiculous on 64oz. Other Half is a bargain compared to them.
    $24 for Full Stack/ DDH SSMS/ DARL
Plus if u forget to bring the glass.... that will set u back $12. What is wrong with these guys? Seems like the consumer is paying for poor business management.

Maybe that's why they keep expanding to new markets to take advantage of being the shiny new IPA. Because no new growth here.

I remember when they first opened it was $28 for Full Stack and it wasn't even that good. Their prices have always been high.

I honestly don't even stop when I see their cans on the shelves anymore. Shame. I've enjoyed most of their offerings

Even in NJ their cans are sitting around at $7 a piece in many shops. Sad to see because I figured cans would be $5-$6 a piece tops out here. Oh well...plenty of other options to choose from nowadays

Picked up a can of DDH SSMS for $6 and cracked it last night. It was good, but no better than the regular. Ive noticed with their can prices that Ive been buying less singlecut too, but maybe thats just because there are so many more offerings than when it was just their bottle and a few others years ago. One interesting thing to note is that even a $7 can is still cheaper than what some of the bottles used to cost, no? Is it just that people feel the quality has gone down, or that other local brewers are doing better things?

This was my can of Mo' Shuggie. Definitely looked the part, and smelled better than I can remember - like straight mango juice. The taste wasn't bad, love that Nelson, but it was more bitter than I, remember and it was also a little dryer than I remember. Overall still a solid beer, but not nearly as good as in my memory.

Following up on this... A BA member saw this and send me a message letting me know he knew someone at Singlecut and had brought it to their attention. I reached out via email and they were very apologetic, saying they remembered my letter and it had somehow been thrown away. These things happen.... I swung by the taproom last night and got a shirt, glass and 4pack of fullstack on the arm - which was far beyond what the bottles ran me... Props to them for making it right. And props to the magic of the internet.

Singlecut's been in DC for nearly a year now and for the most part I've absolutely loved having them here, but man, the last several beers I've bought have not been up to their normal standards. Recent batches of Mo' Shuggie, SSMS and Full Stack have all paled in comparison to previous batches and the most recent Full Stack in particular was not good at all. Anyone else experience this or have any idea what's going on?

Same for me, until proven otherwise I am done with Singlecut.

Same here. Cracked a Full Stack last night and it was a shell of the beer I had when I first started tasting tasting these guys. Still have a few cans of SSMS sitting in my fridge that I keep passing on to drink other things. Add to the fact I am paying >$22 for a 4 pack and I am probably done.

I stand corrected, I see DDH Workers on sale tomorrow, really enjoyed that beer in May, might give this one a chance.

Maybe they should go back to focusing on lagers - the way they started.

18 Watt and Tell Shaky & Boxcar Joe cans just hit shelves in NJ but at $20 for 18 Watt and $22 for Tell Shaky, I passed. Grabbed Industrial Arts Power Tools for $15 instead.

I’m in Hudson County. In this area, I’ve seen cans at Hudson Wine in Secaucus, Sparrow Wine in Hoboken, and Fairview Buyrite.
