I'm so hyped for this beer. Seems everyone else is super hyped for it also. I hope it will last until tomorrow as I imagine the batch size is a lot smaller than normal, as the yield of beer from 6lbs of hops per barrel would = less beer in the end?

 

They won't pour it for me. Sad!

I brought friends along. I'll take the referral bonus in the form of a shot of malort for he ladies.

Yup. The yield was definitely lower but it'd take a combined feat of strength to kill this by tomorrow. *Knocks on wood*

My glass should be out soon: a scratched shaker pint with noticeable chips along the rim.

To Brian- awesome meeting you. Brian noticed the 32 oz pill bottles i brought were foaming up, so he filled 3 32oz FR growlers for me with no charge for the glass. Absolute class act. So thankful to be able to support this brewery (and restaurant) every chance i get.

This is an extremely dumb question but if I bring a howler from a coffee shop, is that ok? Maybe ill just buy a new howler from them.

 

Just bring it in and they'll let you know. Apparently some will fill and others won't, according to Kraj. New 32oz glass is $4 if you go that route.
