Good morning BA, have a great Sunday! Looking to be another nice day. Going to get my bottle returns and laundry done for the day as usual. Bit of work to catch up on for tomorrow. Hopefully this week is not as busy as it was last week.

    Beers this morning:

Incredible as always. Flavors of juicy grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, melon, passion fruit, berry, lemon/orange zest, and light pepper/pine hops; with moderate caramel, toasted biscuit malt; and herbal, floral, grassy hops earthiness. Light-moderate pine/grassy bitterness. Very smooth finish with balanced hop stickiness and bready creaminess in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing bitter dryness, never astringent. Has all the Mosaic and Citra hop flavors I love, with balanced bready malts to make it taste super juicy. Glad I decided to revisit this beer last year, a top favorite IPA now for sure. Got a super fresh 6 pack a few weeks ago. I need to keep this around more often. I love so many Deschutes beers, it's hard to choose which one I want. They are all on rotational 6 pack buys.

Insane NE DIPA! Flavors of huge passion fruit, papaya, peach, apricot, pineapple, mango, melon, guava, berry, tangerine, grapefruit, lemon/orange zest, and light pepper/pine hops; with moderate wheat, white bready malt sweetness; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light pine, grassy, citrus peel bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body. Bready/grainy wheat creaminess and some hop stickiness in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing bitter dryness, never astringent. Absolutely unreal amount of drink-ability. Minimal warmth of 9%. Tropical fruit smoothie in a glass. A bit of dank, but is truly pure juice on hops. Never overly sweet/heavy feeling for the ABV. Identical level of quality to Old Nation, Trillium etc on the NE style. No harsh/overly drying finish, just the perfect amount of bitterness. I need to find more of this one, only have 1 left from the 4 pack. Hoping to see more from this brewery soon.

Incredible as usual. Definitely better than the original bomber batch. Last bottle of the 2 packs I bought. Flavors of big dark roasted coffee, dark chocolate, cocoa, caramel, toffee, vanilla, rye whiskey, toasted oak, light charred malt. Hint of coconut. Light-moderate roasted coffee bitterness and rye whiskey/oak spiciness on the finish. Medium-full body and very creamy/silky; touch of sticky/chalky roast and tannic barrel notes in the mouthfeel. Slightly drying. Never boozy, mildly warming for 12.2%. Feeling even smoother and silkier now than when it was fresh. Looking forward to the next release in Willett barrels. This is the best priced BBA stout of all time.

Incredible! Flavors of milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, wood smoke, vanilla, caramel, toffee, bourbon, toasted oak, molasses, and dark bread; with lighter notes of cherry, raisin, licorice, and charcoal. Light-moderate roast/char bitterness and light bourbon/oak spiciness on the finish. Light-medium carbonation and very full bodied. Thick creamy, silky, bready Munich malt mouthfeel. Lightly slick, chalky, and tannic. Lightly drying bitter roast and oak tannins. Pleasantly warming finish, minimal booze. This is supposed to be a re-brew of 21st Anniversary, but it is far better to me. More rich, roasty, dense, and complex; with more barrel presence, and less booze. We got another shipment of 4 packs last month, and one of my stores still has plenty on the shelf; so I keep grabbing more singles of this a lot. Amazing smoked stout. This is smoothing out even more on the ABV after 5 months. Still have a lot left in the cellar. Will keep buying this one. Definitely one of their best imperial stouts.

Attractive deep amber gold color with good white cap and lacing.

Aroma of sweet malt with caramel, toffee and similar good smelling stuff. There is also a spicy, floral element to the hops.

Taste is malt forward as expected but what was unexpected is the dryness of such a sweet smelling brew. Malt flavor deepens mid palate yet becomes darker and definitely swings toward the dry end of the flavor spectrum. I get hops more as a seasoning rather than distinct flavor in the dish. Finishes clean with some lingering hop bitterness in the aftertaste.

Happy Sunday everyone! Celebrating my youngest daughter's 4th birthday today. Just got back from the local pool and sipping on this while making her cake. First time with this one, and it's amazing. Imperial stout with prunes, vanilla, and habanero chillies. Cheers!

Gut morgen, BA’s! I can't believe a year has already past, but it's official. Today is the day. It's time to show off those beautiful vessels that have been collecting dust on a shelf all year long, or simply neglected in the depths of your cupboard. That's right... it's Stein Club Sunday!!!
