Are you sure you aren't mixing it up with their hawaiian punch IPA - Reign in Punch?

 

I would say I'm 100% certain...but since those crowlers hit me kind of hard, I may be mistaken.

 

My GF would be happy if they brought back RiP.

 

yeah, you're definitely thinking of Reign in Punch. that was one i didn't really care for. but cosmic juicebox could be my beer of the year in this style. it's hard for me to confuse these two.

 

My favorite. Please tap it before 5pm so I can get up there and back before traffic!

 

I'm glad by meeting in the city is Thursday instead of Wednesday as originally intended. I missed out on Cosmic Juice Box last time. Looking forward to it.

 

Is it the same hop profile as the previous?

 

Stopped in this evening to try Ryders, and lucked out, not realizing they were tapping CJB too. CJB is already one of my tops here, but damn, Ryders surprised the hell out of me. Pushes Squeezit OG for my favorite. This is just fantastic.

 

Ryders of the haze is crazy good. 8% alcohol and you can't even taste it, nothing but creamy hop goodness with some Rye bite. Excellent beer.

 

I'm enjoying Ryders on the Haze and I say that from the perspective of not loving most Rye IPA's. Can't wait to enjoy Juicebox crowlers this week

 

@dubo09 do you anticipate ryders AND cosmic to last through the weekend? Thanks for any detail.

 

Had to run into the city because I've got so much going on this weekend that I didn't want to miss out on Cosmic juice box. Glad I made the trip, outstanding. Now I can get some crowlers to go and that should help me through the hectic weekend. Lol

Swung bye last night and had Ryders on the Haze, Solute Your Simcoe and Cosmic Juice Box. Really loved that there was three DDH IPAs available.

I thought all three were very high quality. Ryders on the Haze has easily become my favorite rye IPA in Chicagoland. Right amount of juicy and bitterness that's balanced.

Solute Your Simcoe is excellent for such a low ABV. It packs a ton of flavor for 5.4% abv and I would crush these all day long on a hot summer day.

And finally, Cosmic Juice Box tasted like someone blended a tropical fruit basket and turned it into a beer. Ended up getting 2 crowlers of Juice Box that I'll save for football Sunday.

 

Cosmic will make it through the weekend. Ryders will probably kick Saturday.

 

Was there about an hour ago, great work @dubo09 and the Corridor folks... great chatting with some of the folks from Forbidden Root and St. Errant (sp?) too. Both CJB and Ryders...are awesome. Slight nod to CJB, because of its taste/hop profile, but I really like Ryders too, more than I thought... the use of Loral is surprisingly Pacific/melon fruit like. Great work!

 

I'm sure this was answered above so forgive me: how much are crowlers of Cosmic and Ryders? TIA.
