No so sure about this. Notice that the can art is in the style of Farm to Pint and omits the Memphis location. Probably draft-only, or at least draft-mostly.

I'm wondering, why would they put "12 fl. oz" on the label if it is going to be draft only?

Also, that art looks nothing like Julius, I swear! :smirk:

I guess they're going to sell them from their new location? The only place I've "seen" these cans is at the TTB and in the promos for their new app: [IMG]

Not new location - the OG location, our NYC craft beer started here, 2004. See you next Saturday?

Now that you mention it..... those psychedelic orange and yellow lines with an orange star remind me of Magic Hat #9 label art, minus the "#9". And Magic Hat has a history of defending that trademark. I'm not trying to start anything, just thinking out loud...

EDIT: I suspect the use of a number in a design would be critical to a trademark claim by MH, as it was in past incidents, if I remember correctly.

Except it looks nothing like Magic Hat #9. So, you are trying to start something.

Hah, my wife commented on that the other night. We won the battle; they took a page out of our book and "influenced" an election.

Shane, can you please provide more details on how you will be retailing this beer? Will it solely be on sale at the Sixpoint Brooklyn brewery location? Will you start selling at a set point in time (e.g., noon)? Will you place a limit on how much beer can be purchased per individual? Etc.?

    Cheers!

Very confusing. The only info on your website basically says don't bother coming to our brewery because we have neither a taproom nor tours, and there's no info about these cans on the beers or events pages.

extra special announcement coming up soon about the barrel-aged bean series....

You can read more details about it on our website and also various sources.

There will be a limit as to how much one person can purchase.

Check again bro. We work fast. :-)

Better question, are Rob Thomas and Santana cool with this? Probably, but maybe not, and if not, why not, and what are they gonna do about it? Drop a NEW pop/rock classic bashing Sixpoint?

I don't like having to be the guy that asks the hard hitting questions but someone has to.

“9/25 – Beer goes on sale @ 12PM EST. (Look for your on-sale notification!)”

So, starting at 12 noon on 9/25 you can ‘order’ your beer? Sort of how rock concert tickets would be sold by Ticketmaster ‘back in the day’ (or maybe today as well)?

“9/30 – Pick up your beer and party.”

Is there a requirement to pick up the beer that day (9/30)? Can the customer instead pick up their ‘promised’ beer at a later date (e.g., 10/2)?

    Cheers!
