Is that a good thing?

Right now these guys are doing everything right in terms of running a brewery. Good product, active on social media, and are nimble with changes based on customer feedback(listening to what the customers want)....Kudos.

 

Yeah, although I've had inconsistent results with 'em. I have 4 stamps on mine, but the card says the stamps are for "64 oz. growler fills". I've never filled a 64, only 32 ouncers.

Last night I bought 2 32 oz howlers, was denied a stamp because it wasn't a 64 ouncer (which would've made total sense, had I not gotten 4 stamps in the exact same situation before).

Either way, I don't really care, but I'm definitely confused on how it works.

 

Damn, I need to get one of these, I have two 64 oz growlers I fill regularly and one 32 oz and have never gotten a card lol
What do you get when you get all the stamps?

 

Prob was the same female growler person I've dealt with. My growler card was full but she didn't want to redeem it because I was using an outside growler. It was the same growler I always have filled and she had done about half the stamps.

 

For a specialized position like growler person, you'd think they would know better.

 

Short-haired (dirty blonde, I think), tats and maybe a nose ring?

 

That lady has always been super nice to me! On Saturday she even asked if I wanted to sample any of their beers while I waited for my growler to be filled! Interesting...

 

Oh, I'm not saying she was mean. Just curious if maybe she's tougher on growler cards.


Also...you can do samples at the kiosk? Because I really wanted a sample of Power, and didn't ask (because I didn't wanna hassle her). Damnit.

 

I prefer Antifogmatic Flagon Replenishment Engineer...

 

Woah- did not expect all these growler issues and I will address them right away with my staff. thank you all for pointing this out- can't believe @TigerDriver91 doesn't have a growler card?! Ill get one with some stamps as I have seen you buy plenty!

For every 64 oz you get a stamp. No matter what vessel size. Also yes we should have filled the free growler no matter who it is from? that seems off.

please let me know when stuff like this happens.

As for the Bags.. we did have 10 with our bottle openers and 5 with free Radio Swan 4 Pack Coupons!

Thanks @KrajDoesBeer I don't need one with stamps or anything, no worries I appreciate the offer, I'll just grab one next I'm in while getting a growler filled. I'm actually super stoked to find out there is a growler fill 'loyalty' program at Forbidden Root. That's awesome.

 

Growler was filled because another staff was nice enough to correct her mistake.

 

Oh and our waitress took our howler over to the station and they were having trouble getting it filled. (Pill bottle size) It would only fill about 2/3's of the way, so they only charged me $7. I appreciate them not dumping the beer and trying to start over.

Question: Will it keep the same at 2/3 full? I plan on cracking it this weekend...

 

On that system, yes since it uses CO2 to push the oxygen out....

 

no clue if it will keep- would appreciate your feedback-We shouldn't be filling Pills(in fact I imformed staff days ago they shouldnt be- they are terrible for the beer and our system. They are for regular tap handles like Half acre...

when you fill your card the next time in you get a free 64oz fill on us!
