This is a strange set up for a can release.

Also as far as I know, Sixpoint doesn't have their own canning line at their HQ in BK NY.

So why no distro for theses cans. Especially if they were brewed at City Brewing in TN and sent to BK NY for the release?

Its only "strange" because no one has done it this way before, but we'll do it better.

These beers are brewed and canned at our original facility in Brooklyn, NYC. Download the app and send us a PM if you are going to come by to pick yours up - we'll keep an eye out for ya.

Hey, now. Let's settle down. All he did was give his opinion on what the label looks like. As did I. As did you. Stating an observation doesn't necessarily mean you're looking for trouble. This is all subjective so we can all agree to disagree, right?:innocent:

Looking forward to the new Sixpoint beer, regardless of what the label reminds me (us?) of.:beers:

That's how contract-brewing (and alternative proprietorship) deals go. The location of the "host" brewery has no relationship to distribution footprint of the contractee brewer. Back in '85 when the first bottles of Samuel Adams Boston Lager hit the market in Boston, you couldn't buy it in western Pennsylvania even though it was all brewed at the home of Iron City, Pittsburgh Brewing Co.

Probably some examples, too, of beers owned and brewed by a company that are marketed only outside it's home state, including beers meant for export only.

Although, pretty sure I read here on the forum that Sixpoint is now available in Tennessee.

I assume he's referring to all the Trillium beers that are 7.2% (all/most of the 'Street' IPAs).

When I saw the title of this thread I got excited, but after reading it I'm depressed. Another beer I'll never see in SC.:slight_frown:
