Monterey doesn't have food either, and is strictly an outdoor patio. You can bring in outside food, though (there's a good Poke place just down the street among other options).

There is a public bus that takes you from the airport to city center. Just not sure how often it runs on the weekends. But if we were to fly to Sac we would Uber or Lyft it to FW.

I would do SFO and Uber. On a weekend, it will cost you like $15, and leave you a lot more drinking time than the bus. And as others mentioned, you are super close to caltrain if you want to jump to San Carlos or RWC for a bit

San Mateo food is also Comal, and almost identical to Berkeley (just a difference in a few of the snacks, but the main stuff - tamales and grilled cheese - is the same)

Look, I'm not one for hyperbole (I'm pretty sure by saying that I've outed myself as a drama queen lol), but I just had Destination Unknown on draft for the first time.... It is one of my favorite IPAs I've had. Like, ever. The cans were awesome from the last release (I had 4 and felt sad I didn't have more), and I called it one of my favorites of the year at that time. But this is different. It's real. I love it. I was just at Trillium last month and I'd call every beer I had there swill in comparison. This must be canned again.

Yeah. Destination Unknown was great last run. This batch is great as well. Glad that they are making it a part of the regular rotation now.

Central Coast has a few of the details on a 2nd collab release with FW. Single IPA. It is already on tap at CCB.

Good to know, because I'm gonna stop in at the SM location tomorrow, and if they don't have any cans, at least maybe I can get a crowler of this.

I was pretty blown away with Destination Unknown this time around too. I'm really proud of what FW has accomplished, especially since they started in Berkeley, but it's a looooonnnggg stretch to call every beer you had at Trillium swill in comparison. What is really really awesome though, is that FW is there in the comparison, and in some cases wins out.

    Interesting. That sounds really good.

Lol - The Trillium comment was meant to be hyperbole in direct contradiction to my opening statement :stuck_out_tongue:

    Trillium is definitely good stuff

Well I just put down probably my biggest purchase for take-away beer from a brewery. 2 growlers of Grove Stand a sixer of Orchard Street (16 oz cans) and a sixer of Nine Trizzay (16 oz cans). I have had Grove Stand (which is tied for my favorite FW IPA with Super St Thomas) and Orchard St but the Nine is new. Didn't realize GS was $5/can and Nine was $6/can. Ouch - grand total $110.. Hope I sell a lot of wine this weekend.

Opened a can of the Nine Trizzay. It's.........steep. 9.9 abv IPA. It's like FW's version of Stone Ruin Ten. Its the maltiest FW I've had by a long shot. So I''m a fan but it's not for everyone.

First time trying Destination Unknown. I don't like some of Mosaic's qualities, which is why I don't care for Moonraker / ASB Electric Lettuce. But Fieldwork knows what to do with Mosaic. I really quite enjoyed DU. My favorite Fieldwork DIPA for sure.
