It's literally the original pizza (at least as we now know it), and is delicious if done correctly (but I still really dislike this replacement of an awesome restaurant).

Gross, deep dish=glorified hotdish with crust instead of noodles.

Gross, New York Style=greasy open-face sandwich with too much cheese.

    Come at me on PizzaAdvocate.

Too bad that this really confirms things ended poorly.

    Some well deserved shade.

Unless there is octopus pizza with foie gras sauce, peace out.

It’s like a Greek tragedy with Surly.

Something for prospective future employers to keep in mind... I hope the thrill of pulling the trigger was worth the pain in the foot.

It appears he did in fact delete it. The tweet was something like “Hey Surly Brewing, (middle finger emoji) your (pizza emoji). Sincerely, the Brewer’s Table staff.”

Who acted like an asshole when I interacted with him, so not shocking they butt heads and they are moving on from eachother.

Odd. I've only met him once at a fairly small event (not at surly) and he was a super kind, humble dude that was really grateful that people liked his food.

Sounds like Surly brought out the worst in him, so yeah maybe better for him to be moving on.

Again, I can only speak for the one time I interacted with him as well as a brief conversation with someone else who's worked with him. I choose my words carefully because everyone has different interactions with him and I can't totally judge the man on one interaction I had, but it was a poor one.

It looks like Surly's trying to get on even footing with all their change lately.

This was fated (a nasty separation for Jorge and Surly) when Triple D identified Omar as Jorge on the episode that ran last August.

That was NOT going to fly.

Really? Wouldn't that be Guy Fieri's production staff's error? Why would that create an issue between Omar and Jorge?
