This should probably be a sticky but which stores in Denver carry Casey? I'm spending a half day in Denver after landing on 9/21 before driving up to the Rockies for the weekend. I also plan on stopping by Black Project so any stores around there would be ideal. From what I've gathered so far in this thread, we listed these stores that may carry Casey:
    • Mr. Bs
    • Small Batch
    • North Boulder Liquor (maybe?)
What would be the best way to track for this? Social media? Beermenus?

And opinions on your favorite Casey shelfies? Thanks!

Here's the list on their website (which seems up-to-date other than North Boulder):

"When we have beer available, we’ll sometimes send to Mr B’s Wine and Spirits, Mile High Wine and Spirits, Grapevine Wine and Liquors, Hampden Warehouse Liquors and Small Batch Liquors in and around Denver."

Mr. B's has two locations now: downtown and Stanley Marketplace.

Facebook and IG are prob the best ways to track deliveries to those stores.

I scored tour tickets the weekend of October 20th and was curious if anyone knows what's usually available to go? Also looking for somewhere to spend the night between there and Denver the 21st. Beer, food and nightlife a plus. Not looking to camp. Thanks guys.

There really is no "usual," it's just what's ready. Check out the FB or IG page for weekly menus (they get posted on Wednesdays). Most beers last 3-5 weeks, but smaller blends will go faster. Basically the menu for this week will be unlikely to tell you the menu for next month.

Cool, I like surprises! Just stoked that tours were available the weekend I'll be out there.

Breckenridge/Frisco seem to be good options. Plenty going on in Breck and they have Broken Compass, which I enjoyed 2 years back. Frisco has a brewery right on the lake that used to pump up one of the more adored IPAs in the Denver area (Is it Backcountry I am thinking of? Blanking on the name.) and I think there are several other breweries in that vicinity.

Oh yeah and Breck Brewery, of course.

Yeah, Silverthorne/Frisco/Dillon/Breck is a great area to spend a night. Outer Range, Backcountry, Baker's, Dillon Dam, Pug Ryan's, & Broken Compass are all in that area.
There are also some pubs like Prost and a pretty solid liquor store (that sells Casey) in Base Camp.

Some additional options would be staying in Glenwood Springs itself (I love it up there), although that doesn't seem like what you were asking for. Idaho Springs is another place to crash with things to do, although at that point you're like 80% of the way back to Denver.

Staying in Glenwood Springs isn't off the radar, I just wanted to shave some time off the drive back to Denver in the morning. I was looking at either Vail or Frisco area. I lived in Ft Collins for 6 years back in the late 90's early 2000's but haven't been back to CO since 2002 so I'm not familiar with the area anymore.

Vail isn't much of a beer spot (Vail brewing isn't in the main part of town), but there's plenty of good/great food there.
Glenwood has the Glenwood Canyon Brewpub, the Pullman, and the Glenwood Springs Brew Garden. Loads of good food, too. Construction makes getting to some of those a pain in the ass, but if you stay in town, you can just park and walk everywhere. It's quicker to walk than drive in downtown GS...at least until the bridge construction is finished.
Frisco is still your best best (IMO) though.

Outer Range is worth the stay in Frisco. They make some the best NEIPAs in the state as far as I am concerned.

I couldn't agree with this statement more. Outer Range is worth the drive to Frisco all by itself.

North Boulder Liquor just received it's GABF allocation from Casey Brewing & Blending. Although smaller than expected, NBL received 2 cases of Peach Fruitstand, 2 cases of Funky Blender, 2 cases of Low End and 2 cases of Saison. Due to the smaller allocation, we are limiting each customer to 1 bottle of each variety, in addition to 1 bottle of the few remaining bottles of Hop Slope we have left.
Not sure why earlier posters were questioning if North Boulder Liquor received Casey Beers, but I assure you we do(when available) and we are grateful each shipment we receive from Troy and the rest of the Crew in Glenwood Springs.

While Vail does not have the brewery presence like Frisco/Breckenridge, there are still plenty of spots to find great beer, especially if you are only there for a night or two. Vail brewing now has a taproom right in the center of the Village with 12+ taps (this was two weeks ago and its been there for over a year). Right below their taproom is Bol, who has a nice tap/bottle list and great rotators (I have had Bourbon County, Bruery beers, Avery barrel series, etc.). Mountain Standard (sister restaurant to Sweet Basil) has good food and a good beer selection. They had two Outer Range IPAs on tap a couple weeks ago. There is also Vail Ale House and a short drive (15 min) can get you to Crazy Mountain and the actual Vail Brewing Brewery.

Having said that, you can't go wrong in the Frisco/Breck area, as there are tons or places for great beer. Just wanted to give you a little different perspective on the Vail/Edwards/Avon area.

You learn something new every day. It was a bit of a ghost town last I looked...but that's been a while. Good to know!

Thanks for this rec. I'll be driving from Denver to glenwood springs on Friday this week... plan to stop at outer range now. What are the to-go options (if any)?. Growlers, Crowlers, cans, or bottles?
    TIA

Huge can release this weekend! They don't have any cans or bottles on site except for their monthly releases. I'm not positive about growlers/crowlers.

Like Tyler said, double can release on Saturday, but normally just growler fills available.

They also do growler fills in 32 and 64 oz. Last time I was there I regretted not bringing a growler with me.

And do yourself a favor and walk across the parking lot to Basecamp wine and spirits. They have Casey and a bunch of other gems- including fresh Odd13 stuff.

Awesome, thanks! Will the Casey at Basecamp be different than the Casey available at the brewery? We're driving to glenwood springs to go to Casey
