    not even a Blackberry? damn!

Not necessarily. As beers develop through the pipeline, they always have the opportunity to have greater distribution in the future. You did notice the bourbon-barrel aged porter is coming your way, right?

Although I drink a bunch of Sixpoint, I'm probably old enough to be your grandpa. Never heard of Blackberry, so I can do without. I've had a dingleberry or two. Does that count? You lost me, SP. Carry on.

This is just the beginning. We really hope you like the experience with buying beer through the app, and then all of the new formulations and releases from the product development team led by Eric Bachli. From now until the end of the year, we are releasing 8 new beers in cans!

We personally feel that heads on beer are waaaay to small these days. The head should be large, inviting, and trap in all of those glorious hop oils and aromas you love to whiff.

We should be pouring beers with more head too. Make the glass larger if need be to accommodate, or simply pour less beer and charge less. But don't pour a beer with less an inch of head on it! c'mon! :-)

Jack, we've taken some of your feedback and others into account and the app will alert people as to the pickup window of the brewery, which for the initial release will be limited to next Saturday, Sept 30th. Anyone who bought the beer through the app will have their allocated beer waiting for them at the brewery. There will be a limit as to how much one person can order.

We're doing the final beta testing now and we just got word from the iTunes store that it was approved (it was already approved on Android). Alerts will be sent out momentarily that the beta app will be available for download right away. This app will allow you to purchase beer direct from our brewery in Brooklyn - make history with us next Saturday to become the very first beer drinkers who bought new small batch beers directly from the brewery with a native app.

The full version of the app will be released in a couple of weeks, and at that time we will retire the beta version. Also at that time you will be able to order the SMOOTHIE - the beer referenced on this thread. We will also have another special beer available for purchase that day, and you will be able to order it on the app.

8 new beers between now and the end of the year.... cheers

here are some screen shots of the beta app:
