Woof. Hope that was an honest mistake or that there's something more to the story.

It may have just been something goofy --- I'm already unblocked. So either an Insta-glitch or just an error.

Noticed they removed one of your previous comments about the bad simcoe batch as well. Kind of shady considering it was clearly a messed up brew that should not have been canned as DDH forever simcoe without some kind of explanation. But you know they want everyone to load up and buy everything so that's almost important

I didn't notice that! Yeah, pretty shady. But at $120 per case and maybe 450 - 600 cases in that double batch, I guess I can understand their position...

It wasn't a double batch, and if it had been, I think 500-525 cases is probably a better upper bound

Really? Their position of supressing information around a clearly off batch? Not sure I agree they can post whatever they want and then censor what others say. I have had this happen before and is not cool.

I used to think reselling was the reason for the absurd lines at OH, but razzles appear to be where the money is. Guy has 3 4packs going for $10/spot x 15 spots. Insane

Just a different method of reselling. I have only heard of these, but with those odds the people participating in them are morons.

finally cracked a vic secret/mosaic last night. damn that's good.. love how the vic adds that nice grassy flavor to the fruity mosaic with the occasional black licorice note. great beer.

Make Mylar Great Again.... already brown and tastes off. This is world class brew when they have it dialed in. Second time in a row its been bad for me.

This morning I was in my laundry room/office/guest room/play room/junk room and noticed a lovely but out of place aroma of hops- I had not been drinking beer in there last night, where could it be coming from? Opening my beer fridge, I see some beer drying on the bottom but nothing looked immediately out of place. Then I pickup my three-week old Triple Cream growler- waaaaaaah!

Had this happened to anyone else with Triple Cream or was it just this specific fill? Lid closed too tight? I've never lost beer from can nor growler before so panicking now how I'm going to drink everything I have before it all explodes (because of course I'm going to overestimate the odds it will happen again).

Not sure how to post pics here but maybe the link will work.

LONG Time Stalker, First time poster - but had to say that this exact thing happened to me. I had a growler of Triple Cream and a growler of DDH ACE that I got from the brewery in a cooler in my car. They were separated by bubble wrap on the way from the brewery to my house. The bottom of the growler of Triple Cream broke in the cooler and leaked everywhere - the DDH ACE was fine. I was sad to lose the growler but my car did smell amazing that day. I still have the broken growler, it's like the bottom just fell off.

wait...is it normal for people to hold onto OH glass growler fills for that long? I normally drink glass growlers in 1-2 days from my local breweries.

Unopened, the OH growlers will last and taste fine longer than people think. You can sit on them for weeks. Once opened though, you need to drink that day.

held on to my triple cream for 2+ weeks, fully loaded baked potato for 3+ weeks without issue. are all glass growlers made equally? mine are from OH and the defunct Beirkraft and i've never had an issue. (of course, I just typed that, so now I will).

I try to drink most within two weeks; as noted here many times OH beers can really develop new flavors when given a rest from 7 to 14 days. In this case, some buddies at work weren't available for a beer share until next week hence the longer than usual hold in the fridge.
