Yeah the case limits are high but so are the prices. I'll be surprised if the Human Adult sells out tonight.

I think most everything will make it until tomorrow, but get there somewhat early. I missed 2/4 cans last week wednesday evening.

I'm rethinking what I said before, there are a lot of people walking out with cases. Also the gose is surprisingly good, not "straight blood orange juice"

Oh I love lagerbier, I just don't think Veil has it in them to brew a good one. The amount of lupulin dust just in the air of the brewhouse is enough for this beer to be overhopped (w/ the wrong hops, I might add)

All 4 survived the day and are still available today (Wed). Looks like even Adult Human coming in at only a 1x 4pk limit today still has around 60 cases if the pic is accurate.

I think the Marzen turned out really well. I'm not up on the nuances of what a proper Marzen is supposed to taste like, but this one is really tasty and not over-hopped at all.

Irritates me on a personal level seeing that much Human Adult dropped to 1pp when they left We Ded and Too Far at 2pp with a fraction of that remaining last Wednesday.

I agree with that. What gets me with the picture and limits are that Human Adult and If Your're Drinking This.... appear to show about the same remaining yet the collab is 1x while the other is 3x limits today.

Seems the brewery is lurking in shadows. An explanation as to why the 1x on the HA.

This is just nonsense with the case counts on the IG story. Just put the damn case count on the FB/IG posts. It takes the same amount of time to do some mental math as it does to put up these story posts.

I have to read that BA coconut Horns description like 4 times to wrap my head around what it is. And I'm still not sure what a Blue Bee Cider apple brandy barrel is. Blue Bee is a cidery (obviously), not a distillery. Does that mean its an apple brandy barrel that's previously held cider and cold brew coffee?

I wasn't joking before when I said I wouldn't be surprised if our sales tracking in this thread is at least part of the reason why they don't give case counts anymore. Why it hurts to allow people to have that info is beyond me, but not giving case counts doesn't help costomers plan, that's for sure.

Similar to what Modern Times did with City Of The Dead which is a great love ABV barrel aged beer.

"When we think of barrel-aged beer, we usually think of beer that’s been brewed and then left to age in whiskey or wine barrels. But a few brewers are putting a new twist on that and spinning things around the other way: Introducing a beer, brewed with barrel-aged coffee beans.

If you’re not into coffee, you may not have heard of such a thing, which has taken flight in coffee houses across the country. Barrel-aged coffee is actually aged before it is brewed. Before they are roasted, coffee beans are green and very susceptible to their environment. In other words, they soak up aromas like a sponge. Traditional coffee makers do everything they can to limit green bean exposure to foreign flavors, but in this case, they are intentionally exposing it to something they deem favorable: oak barrels. The beans absorb the flavors of the barrel, both the oak and whatever was in the barrel previously, typically wine or whiskey. After a period of aging, they are roasted as usual."

I think I actually have a bottle of City of the Dead, haven't tried it yet though. The coffee thing I get though, I'm mostly confused as to what an apple brandy barrel from a cidery means.

Apple brandy is simply distilled cider aged in a barrel. Blue Bee may do some distilling on the side w/ extra cider (not sure what they do w/ the brandy), then use the barrels to age cider (like a stout that's aged in bourbon barrels) or to simply pass along/sell to others.
