Kane Brewing (September 2017)

Yeah I stood in the line for Fifth and Anny bottles for about 2 hours, I did run to go pee once and some one held my spot for me or I was gonna have a real problem with my shorts being wet lol.

Once I got bottles I put them in my car and it was just an even longer line inside. I forget who we asked, but whoever it was said it was 1 4oz pour per person because they didn't have enough glasses for more. I would be into a few different beers each weekend for the next few weeks

 

^yeah i got there early waited in line, they then shuffled the line and things got confusing and some got pissed off bc others got in front of others because of the confusion/new line for getting inside for pours

i got my bottles after about an hour and half wait.. then all those in front of me had gotten in line for pours and i wasn't waiting that long again for 1 4oz pour so i bounced... was a little perturbed by the organization of it all but no biggie not getting pours, could of if i had wanted to wait another 30-40 mins

 

Yeah, I understand why it was the way it was, as they really had no choice and I guess they didn't anticipate that large of a turnout. We essentially got a pour and got right back on line each time. Our pours were done halfway through the line. Got a few ANTED Vanilla 2014? I think it was and then 1 or 2 other things. When I left later on the line died down pretty far but ANTEAD had kicked at that point I think, base might have still been up and everything else was too

 

Does anyone know if deep rooted was brewed again this year?

 

It was not... and I don't believe we did it last year either. I think we did it last in 2015. It's a fun concept and something we'd like to revisit someday.

Wow does time fly I feel like I had it just last year can't believe it was two years ago.

 

Not listed and thought it was sold out Sat but there were Mosaic Punch cans here

 

I saw its on tap as well. Hoping we get some word on the anniversary soon

 

^doesn't seem like it'll be this weekend.. unless they just do a surprise announcement tomorrow that they have anniversary bottles but all other business is is normal.. make it a no big deal type thing

 

seeming like that could be what happens, maybe only a bottle release

I would doubt it. I got there around 5:30 and saw small amount in fridge. When I went up to get a second drink there were 3 4-packs in fridge and they brought out about 4 or 5 cases and said that was the last of it.

 

It sold out. Taproom staff told me there were approximately 18 cases at open. The cans weren't previously sold since they were waiting on more stickers.

 

cracked my first can of Mosaic Punch last night, really good and really balanced. Lots of the fruit at the end and as it warmed more. Don't know if I like it more than the Waimea Punch they did with Aslin or not, but I do like it a ton

Maybe anniversary next weekend?!

 

So wife son and I went for a nice quiet kane trip today. We pull up and a guy has his trunk open full of OH beer as if their parking lot was a flee market. Have some respect man, I mean he was parked right at the entrance. Is this common nowadays? kane must have told him to leave cause his car was moved and then he came inside to drink and network.

 

This is why I hate beer.

 

Can I also add I forgot how amazingly perfect head high is. People can have their lines and limited beers. I'll take the beer that built this brewery any day of the week. On a side note night swimming is amazing.
