Curious - Which bottle shops had Transient? Been lucky to try a bunch of their stuff via a friend who lives in Michigan.

I came in here to say this. Picked up a 12er last night. Tastes great with a nice sweetness i'm guessing from decoction.

CBC Framingham got a bunch of Transient today too, including cans.

Having one now. It's excellent. Clean, spicy, crackery smell. Nice maltiness with a bit of malt sweetness, nice hop bitterness throughout and not too dry a finish. It's a knockout.

2nd on the post shift, I got a can before they released it a month or two ago. Fantastic beer at such a good price.

Anyone know where I can find post shift in or around Marshfield?

Tons of Modern Times at CBC Belmont, and I got a 4-pack of Second Fiddle there yesterday (yes I post about Belmont a lot... it's on my way home and I stop in a few times a week).

They have several varieties of Grimm sours, too.

Found Passion Fruit Guppy by Pipeworks at Atlas in Medford yesterday. Didn't spot any of the other Pipeworks varietals that have been around recently, but I was in and out real quick and didn't give it the full once over to see if the others were in stock as well.

I've never really warmed up to Sunny Ridge but I liked this a lot. I'm kind of a crackers-or-bust kind of Pilsner drinker so this was right up my alley. Nice bitterness as you say and absolutely none of that back end sort of sulfurish taste that I sometimes get from pilsners (mostly Czech style, but sometimes German too. I think I'm particularly sensitive to whatever it is). Thx for the heads up!

I'll chime in on Post Shift - great beer, I'll put it up with House Lager as my favorite from them.

Interestingly as I drink a few of them I'm reminded of SN Summerfest - another crisp, dry, hoppy Pils that I just want to drink more of.

Empire Wine and Spirits in Kingston had 12 packs yesterday and Kiwi Rising, plus were putting out Pipeworks when I grabbed the Kiwi!

Thanks man, I found some at blanchards Marshfield. Unfortunately the beer was a miss for me, rare miss for JA

What were they charging at Empire for the Post Shift? I live 5 minutes from there but buy 95% of my store beer at Fort Point Market near my office because it's always cheaper which makes no sense.

Melvin's Asterisk DIPA and Exhibit A's Sunday Paper at Winooski Bevy.

Edit: maybe not in a New England city but seeing Night Shift cans, and Kent Falls bottles at Westmere Bevy in Albany, New York that excites me.

Night Shift being everywhere these days is an awesome development in beer.

Now if only Night Shift came to Vermont to save me the gas to Albany, NY; lol. I have yet to have a bad beer from Night Shift!

You clearly did not try Root, lol. I guess it's time to stop ragging on them for the extremely hit or miss beers from their early(ish) days. Love me some One Hop This Time!
