For kicks I had the newer Stone Neapolitan stout and BA Neapolitan from Saugatuck when I got home from More. Funny how much better the Henna was, so much better mix of the adjuncts and mouthfeel. though I can't say I was surprised.

My understanding is henna kicked last night. Not first hand knowledge just what I was told. Can anyone confirm?

I'd also love to know! I was going to make the drive out there to try it. I called around close last night, but their phone appeared non-operational.

Only four cases of DDH Dusty left. Was going to drive out tomorrow but I guess that's not happening now.

I wonder if MoRE made multiple pours of Henna available to the same patrons that already had a glass. I know my girlfriend and I got a 5oz pour each, but after I finished mine I was offered another pour (which I declined). That would have certainly sped up the consumption of the keg, especially towards the end of the night.

Yes, on untappd people were talking about 3x and 4x pours. I get it, but I'm also a little disappointed. I guess I'll have to settle with cuvée of darkness v2 yesterday, a healthy no drinking day today, and, to assuage my bitterness of not having everything all the time, a king Sue and st errant ES / BS tasting tomorrow.

More, I want to like you! I really do! But you're so far away from the city! And your product is ephemeral!

They're usually called "Mondays" for me. Observing that on a Friday is absurd!

I've actually been observing it on a Friday the past couple weeks, generally so I can get up early on Saturday and run. But, I will admit that it's not easy (especially tonight heading into a long weekend).

When I was marathon training I would get up at the ass-crack of dawn on Fridays and get my long run out of the way for the weekend just so I could drink Friday night LMAO. But I digress....

I didn't know there was a limit -- ordered and received a second pour, then got mildly scolded by the bartender when she added it to my tab and saw it wasn't my first. But anyone paying cash could've easily received multiple pours. At a buck an ounce it's hardly the crime of the century.

If they filled your order, no reason to question your ethics nor should they have scolded you for anything after already giving you the beer. The only reason I didn't get a second one after being offered is because I wanted to try other beers I hadn't had before and didn't want to go overboard on Henna alone.

Now that more people have had Henna, is it worth the hype? I doubt I'll get any unless I go to More, but if I hear it's insane, I'll probably try to pick one up.

I got a pour yesterday and my take was that its a very solid offering but not mind blowing. Knowing what it’s fetching on the secondary market, I was expecting a bit more. Either way, glad I got to try it.

I was skeptical going in, but damn it was good. Definitely should have waited in that line vs the vanilla bean Spirit line I spent four hours in.

This batch of DDH Dusty is fantastic. Just opened my first can of it and man, it's nice and tropical with a really good mouthfeel for 'only' 6% abv. Deep saturated yellow-orange cloudy appearance. Looks great. Might be my favorite 6% and under beer along with Lizard King.
