That burger at Emily's. Dear god. I used to live in Chicago and this burger, I thought, blew Au Cheval out of the water (and Au Cheval lived up to the hype, I thought!).

True, I've gone from Threes to Emily which is walkable, but Other Half is rather far.

Not to turn the OH thread into some foodie forum, but Au Cheval is supposed to be opening a spot in TriBeCa some time next year...

The chef from Au Cheval also opened 4 Charles Prime Rib here NYC already and it serves a VERY similar burger. The space is very tiny and it can be difficult to get a table at a reasonable hour.

My local favs have been Parklife, Pig Beach and Ugly Baby. Also Nargis (popular Uzbek place in Sheepshead Bay) opened a spot on 5th ave btwn Douglass and Degraw.

Excited to try Zamboni. The 3 different yeast strains has me interested. I love OH’s classic flavor but a change of pace is always welcome.

Psyched for DDH Oh... tomorrow, loved that beer when the non-DDH batch rolled out. And I haven't had DDH Daydream in Green in a minute and am looking forward to revisiting that. But more importantly, tonight I get to crack into my DDH Citra Daydream growler I've been salivating about all week.

Indeed, and they're quite different beers. I had high hopes for Citra Daydream but it didn't compel me to load up on it. Double Citra Daydream (which I had a taster of last weekend) was ridiculously good. Curious how it has "evolved".

I’ve had it before and loved it. But had it just now at taproom and wasn’t doing it for me. But been feeling this way for a week or two. Juiced out I think.

Debating whether to drink my last can of DDH ACE tonight. I want it so bad, but I don't want to let it go.....

Most OH beers are fantastic at 4-5 weeks. I like to always hold at least 1-2 cans of each for 4-5 weeks and drink the freshies in the mean time.

I do the same thing. Just had my last can of Enigma + Galaxy and it was great. The onion/garlic flavor is more subdued and there's more bitterness, but it still has a ridiculously clean finish. Not quite Congress Street level but close
