What's your opinion? I am stiill going to buy it no matter how you rate it. I'm already in for the first 11, can't stop now.

Starting to think about how to approach the consumption of the 15. The obvious choice is a "one sitting" vertical, but eben with small samples (2-3oz), is it too many beers for one tasting?

    REVELRY PARTY!

For those interested in the "15 Beers For 15 Years" series Two Brothers is throwing a "Revelry Party" at their Roundhouse location (205 N. Broadway, Aurora, IL 60505) starting at 6 PM on Thur., Nov. 8th. They will have ALL 15 beers in the series on tap for the evening, as well as the inaugural tapping of their new release, "Revelry" (Imperial Red Ale/9.5% ABV). There's even a buffet...A BUFFET! Tickets are $10 in advance (available at the Tap House in Warrenville or the Roundhouse in Aurora) or $15 at the door the day of the event.

The only thing that sucks about this is that it's taking place on a Thur. when it could have just as easily been scheduled for a Fri. or even Sat. night, making it easier for more people to attend. This silly weekday date will not stop me, though! I am definitely going to be there.

Per the info listed on their website:

"Revelry defined: "Lively and noisy festivities, especially when drinking alcohol." That is what is asked of all our fans, to come out and toast with us. The Revelry Party will be held at Two Brothers Roundhouse, 205 N. Broadway Aurora, IL. Starting at 6pm with the tapping and toast to Revelry and to start the party off right. Tickets go on sale October 1st for $10 in advance and $15 at the door. They will be available for purchase at Two Brothers Tap House and Roundhouse. Tickets will get you entry to the party that will have all of the limited retro beers on draft, a fantastic fall dinner buffet, and live music! This party will be a warm up for the next 15 years!!"

FYI, not trashing talking but I had a couple of friends attend a 2-Bros event earlier in the year at the Roundhouse, and the cover was only for admission. Buffet and beers were "extra".

Most 2 Brothers events, if there is a buffet it is included in the ticket price and beer is extra.

If #13 is a Scottish Ale I ask why? Why make two Scottish Ales in 15 beers?

No Imperial Cane & Abel? :slight_frown:

I still stand by #1 being the only good-to-great beer (though I don't think I had the first Scottish Ale [or the second]). And it's still on shelves somehow.

I think #15) Revelry (Imperial Red Ale/ABV 9.5%) is the "Imperial" version of Cane & Ebel.

Not a 15 beer but Heavier handed bombers are hitting the burbs as I saw some at my local Candy Store "Binny's"

How does it compare to Hop Juice?

Being a wet hop it's different but damn fantastic I must say. I'd prefer it over hop juice IMO
