havent seen this one around yet but interested as well. When hailstorm has their act together they are a bargain at $11/4 pack but super hit or miss, especially with stratus

Just picked up some new cirrus the other day. Haven't drank any yet. As of the last batch, they said that beer is dialed in for good.

The last batch of Cumulus that I tried was good, specially for $10 a 4pk.

Anyone heard anything specific about Lagunitas Born Yesterday yet? Untappd says I had last year's version on 10/18 and it was really great (I didn't dig Born Again this Spring). It was bottled on 10/7 last year

Picked up some Hailstorm Stratus and it is more like itself again. Had been passing it up because of what people were saying but took a chance and thought it was tasting pretty good.

Looks like there's a release party at Binny's SLoop on 10/17.

Overhaze is legit. But $14 for a 12 ounce 4 pack is a little steep.

As others have said, this is basically in line with the $18/16oz. 4pks (fairly standard amongst many NEIPAs). I wouldn't go as far as to defend all of Marz's pricing, but I don't find this particular price all that out of whack.

It's actually closer to $19. I appreciate haze connoisseurs love to throw their money around but remind me which 16oz NE IPA 4 pks in the Chicago area are priced at $19, much less being the standard pricing around here? And let's keep 18th Street out of it.

I get the price breakdown. Like Jaycase said, it's more in line with $19/4pk of 16 ounce cans. I don't think I've ever paid that much for a four pack of cans.

Wasn't Strange Old Woods at this price level? I think it is crazy. But I bought some Overhaze today. Because I have no self control.

Found cirrus and stratus yesterday and tried last night. Stratus was fine, not like a couple batches where it was legit NE style. Cirrus was a straight onion bomb

I enjoyed Over Haze from Marz. I'd probably put it near the top of the 2nd tier NEIPAs in the area, but a definite improvement over ChiPA and a worthy addition to the local rotation. Not sure how often I'd revisit it at that price point, but it was nice see a local NEIPA available in a bottle shop that I didn't have to go out of my way for.

I've never had anything from the Short Fuse brewery, but according to Beeronaut, they just released a NEIPA called "The Juice is Loose!"

Classic Internet, quibbling over a dollar. For the record, I am just playing devil's advocate since I won't be buying it because it's too expensive for me.

I have paid that (and more), but not in Chicago, you're right.

I paid 12.99 for overhaze and I'd pay that all day. First time I felt I got my money's worth from them. Great beer.

Please I have no problem dropping money on beer that I enjoy. In that same purchase I bought a bottle of Darkness for $20 without giving it a second thought.

You've paid that and more for a 4 pack of 12 ounce cans? It's an odd format that I don't see very often.
