Has anyone tried Hop Tart or Peach Around yet? Untappd ratings are lower than I expected, but I feel as though that app is the most accurate along the lines of my thoughts on beers.

 

HopTart was pretty good. Mild tartness for me, with some vinous character in it. Almost like a rosé wine, but a good one.

Peach Around was just okay. Don’t know much about the base beer but that alone wouldn’t excite me either.

HopTart - would drink again

SSU is being released in cans either late Thursday or Friday. Count me in for a pallet.

Yes, I was there on Saturday night and they were definitely $18 a 6-pack. Which the mix-a-six price was bumped to $18 since those beers were included.

 

Funny, I’ve been there a few times since posting that and completely failed to follow up on it. Sometimes that happens.

 

You think the price for a case of SSU will go up? I'm hoping not, but it went from $50 to $52 the last time.

I think the first time they canned SSU 6 packs were $15...i missed the BBA that time but was more than happy to take a couple of 6 packs at that price of the OG

I wanna say cases were maybe $48

 

For those wondering, $16 a six pack and $50 for a case.

 

Can we discuss how great Super Tight is? How has this not been canned? Tasting great.

 

Well there is the announcement. I can't tell if Al is actually serious about the release time. Regardless, I might be able to get pumpkin and regular SSU in one trip!

I'm off work tomorrow and would go down there if they have pumpkin SSU but live an hour north and would have to pick my kids up from school by 2

Usually.

All I know is that it will be canned tomorrow, whether it goes on sale is totally up to Al alone. Either way it will definitely not sell out in the first few days it is on-sale so I don't think you will need to rush down or anything.

 

Anyone try it yet?
