The most recent bottle of SITR w/kumquats I had was not good. I don't know if it was infected but it tasted nothing like any of the older bottles I've had.

I don't really see anything special or any archive beers on tap at either tasting room for barrel aged beer day. Usually they at least have some archive anniversary beers on for BA beer day

Same here. Check both spots out and just the norm plus a couple of extra that are public now. Usually always have some archive beers that make the trip worth it that we haven’t seen in a long time. It’s not expected to see a list like the day of the anniversary but be nice to have something like 16 Black Tuesday instead of more bottles of it for sale on the site and tasting room

That's awesome! Do the same rules apply to Black Tuesday as normal allocations for DC pickup? IE: 30 day pick up window at the fulfillment center after Jan 1?

I'm seeing these on-line, must be a Hoarders thing:
    sucre - madeira
Sucré is our sixth-anniversary ale, loosely brewed in the English-style old ale tradition. This version was aged in Madeira barrels.
    bois - brandy
Our fifth anniversary ale aged in brandy barrels. Click to see full product description.

Reserve sees those. I think some aren't counting them because they were up during anniversary sale.

Well, if it's seeing distro I can just wait and order a case at work for even cheaper.

Wine III is drinking terribly. Please contact me for my address so I may properly dispose of any remaining bottles.

Same with Rum Barrel Black Tuesday. It's doing terribly. I may have to wash it down with a Port Barrel.

Where is the best place for a burrito near the original tasting room?

@Yabu @Hoppedelic BT Reserve is drinking very well. It still has some heat at times but I think it's developing well. No signs of oxidation or off flavors either. This is gonna hurt later #Solo.

I'm assuming BT Reserve has a price premium over stock BT, so the question is: is it worth that premium? Or is it more of a FOMO purchase?

It's double barrel BT aged for 2 years. That alone makes it worth the premium.
