Anyone notice draft vs. bottle variations for Double Rainbow? Had it on draft on Thursday and then a bottle tonight... getting much more variety of flavors and thicker creaminess out of the bottles. Drafts are good... but picked up a mild bitterness and body isn't the same. The bottle I had tonight was just unreal.

 

Anyone know if More will be open today? TIA.

I expect it to be crowded this afternoon. Lots of people off work and the Cubs game is in the mid afternoon.

Lots of places close on holiday Monday’s especially if it’s a government holiday. I see nothing wrong with the question, especially if you’re making a special trip.

I’d be pissed if i drove an hour or so, only to find out they were closed, when I could have asked a question to find out.

Too much controversy around it and its alternative holidays so I just observe today as National Chicagoland NEIPA Day.

All I can say is the company that provides my business software took today off for Columbus Day, including their tech support. And of course today was the day the software crashed.

The sky has really been subpar lately. I don't understand why it's even up there. You figure it'd try a little harder to be more sky-ish. It's like it doesn't even care.

I don't want to rain on your parade, but I think you are trying to precipitate a total thread derailment.

If we must, I would say I have concerns that there is too much haziness in the sky today (perhaps the Cubs fans hopping around in joy kicked up some dust?) and I'm worried about the Cubs being rained out tonight. I heard this might be because of a storm coming in from the north (per the Hennapin weather station).

That said, their data is so darn hard to come by, hard to know if it is accurate, or just overhyping a weak draft.

 

Thank God we didn't have this sky on Columbus Day. It would have been Armageddon.
